It's not carb cycling, it's cyclic ketosis. I wouldn't really consider them to be the same thing.
In my experience it will really help with your hunger levels. You'll look flat during the week but when you eat the carbs you'll fill up a lot.
Cyclic ketosis is indeed carb cycling. Some days you're on, some days you're not. I call that a cycle.
To the OP, there are a variety of ways to do this. You can do high and low days, you can do low all week, then a carbup - that method has been perfected by L. Mcdonald: UD2.0
i have a sample 1500 calorie a day diet and a 3500 calorie a day diet, would the low calorie be for cutting an the high calorie be for bulking?

ooooooooooo snap. my google skills are to much for GTBMED
varying your carb intake according to your training days - you carb up on days you train and avoid them on days you don't train.
the Anabolic Diet is more like UD2.0 in that you eat very few carbs for 5 days then do a refeed for 2 days.
You bet you can. Healthy normal people go into ketosis daily, when they sleep.built, can you actually reach ketosis if you eat carbs every other or every 3rd day? i was under the impression that it took a bit longer.

I can eat a bagel in the AM, go for a hike, and come home in ketosis. I've done it.
