Another half inch of belly gone!!

I measure every other tuesday and weigh in downstairs :) This week is encouraging! I have shed another half an inch from my waist and am down to 183.5. My wife said she can tell that my shape is starting to taper as well. This is good to hear especially when I was simply fat all over before.

I am using the fitday site to help me track all the macros throughout the day and am really giving due dilligence to making sure I am getting enough proten. I am using whey once a day on rest days and twice on lifting days.

Congratulations! It's amazing what we can accomplish if the mind set is correct. I too use fitday and it has helped me drop 29.4 lbs in the last 3 months. I'm not really trying to cut, just build lean muscle. I lift heavy and work my ass off in the gym. The fat has just been dropping off. My back has just exploded like never before.
 
I think my wife likes the fact that the belly is going away and that is motivation enough for me to continue to train and eat right.

Thats really great to hear. Weight loss creates problems. However, it can be controlled by proper diet, exercises and healthy habits :)

There is no alternative like working out.
