Since doing certain Pull Overs MIGHT have a possibility to change a person's rib cage structure if he's too young, thus in order to play safe, I was wondering is a Wide-Grip Behind-the-Neck Pulldowns considered as a PullOver?

I don't have a great body, but as long as I work hard like now, I'm gonna reach there.

I don't think they are the same. Pulldowns work your lats, so I don't know how they are going to change the structure of your rib cage. I like ribs. Ever have them at the Outback steakhouse? Very tasty.

If you are going to do pulldowns and want to be "safe", stay away from the "behind-the-neck" variety. They are tough to master and put unnecessary stress on your shoulder joints. Stick to regular pulldowns that bring the weight down to your chest. You can experiment with narrow and wide grips to hit the lats from different angles.

Why would you want to change your ribcage?? Your ribs protect all the organs in your torso.

No they're totally different movements, like baboon said, Pulldowns are for your back/lat muscles wile pullovers are for your pec muscles.

I honestly don't think doing Pullovers will hurt you, I've seen different thing that they may cause the rib cage to expand but have never heard that to be a bad thing. Just keep good form wile doing them and you should be fine.

Cool, thanks for the confirmation. The ribcage part is quite scary though, imagine only one side of your ribs structure expanding, by than the poor 'victim' is gonna have unbalance ribs.
