Just a quick Q about my grip...
As i`m lifting the bent over row up i have a really tight grip but thenwhen i lower and repeat my grip kinda stretches like hanging from my fingers( kinda hard to explain) it is probaly more comfortable like this than with a tight fist clenched grip.
But i was wondering does the tight grip target the back muscles better than the other grip?? cause i seem to be able to feel it more!! or does it not matter.....my form is good too,

any help appreciated.

the same thing happens to me. I don't really think the bar slipping down a little into the fingers are going to change they way it targets the back. That's loke saying wow this weight is to heavy for my grip, but I'll have to deal with it cause the use of wrist straps is going to target a different back muscle. So I say no

With a loose grip I'd have to have twice the hand strength I have now to row. I went from a tight grip, to fingers slipping until I went to straps or allowed myself to prematurely fail using a supinated grip (where I was stronger without straps).

I put about 40-50 pounds on my row my first day with straps, going from about 275 for reps to 3 plates.

thats my biggest problem with rows 2, my grip cant handle the weight my back can, i'm guessing those grippers would probably help eh!
