should i do biceps@ triceps on same session,or what i have been doing biceps,shoulders,legs... next session..triceps,back,chest.im not sure which body parts i should be putting together for each session ,any help appreciated,im 55, fit and want to build some muscel.

i'm not exactly sure but shouldn't you be doing back and biceps and then tri's and chest? also lower pull then lower push?

It doesn't matter.
What's most important is you do your compound movements first then accessorize with isolation stuff.
Makes no difference regarding age either. I'm 51 and do bi's & tri's same day but only after knocking out whatever compound movement I'm scheduled to do that day.

Rahaas hit it on the head - put the arm work, and indeed any isolation, wherever you like. Just don't make it a priority. It's honestly fairly unimportant.

I do my arm work on leg days. Hell, tuck sets of bicep curls between sets of squats if you like. Or just do chins in the cage.

I love chins using the crossbar in the cage. The grip makes them really tough.

Try throwing a towel over the bar sometime and gripping the ends. THOSE are MURDER!

You thank me now but you'll hate me when you try them. I can only do a few before my grip gives out.

Yeah, towel pullups are great. A single arm towel pullup would just be the epitome of bodyweight awesomeness.

thankyou for the info, i think i will now do biceps@triceps on same day.

The "push and pull" workout. Much like chest and back. Many theorys on this working and many on why it doesn't. Personally, I think it is a good way to mix things up.

You can push-pull supersets, bi and tri, in no time. After that you can finish with a forearm supersets.

When I do this it's at the end of two upper days(push and pull) then a day off and then legs. Never isolate the arms without days off before upper compound days, IMHO.
