I have become extremely motivated by some of the members threads ive been reading on here...Heavyirons transformation really inspired me, and HFO3 is just a freakin specimen!...I hope to one day have his level of conditioning...And even Kos's dramatic weight loss pics have inspired me...So i am on a mission to take it to the next level...I have put myself on an extremely low carb diet, today i ate 1 cup of oatmeal for breakfest with a 60 gram whey protien shake...Went and grappled for 1 hour, sparred for 1 hour, then lifted for 1 hour, then another 60 gram whey protien shake, then post workout meal was 2 chopped sirloins and water, ill eat 2 more before bed...Im fealing very weak from all the cardio and low carbs so dont flame my workout videos to bad, lol......I did 3 sets of flat bench with 315lbs I got 9 reps, 8 reps and then 7 reps, then went over to incline bench and did 225lbs for 20 reps...Im on a mission to get serious and then do my first cycle...Any advice, critisism, and jokes will be appreciated. ironically...last time I did bench I did 315 for a pathetic 7...but you outweigh me by a claimed near 70 pounds

Track everything you eat everyday, period. Nutrition has to be tracked for any bad ass changes to occur and you have to know what's causing these changes and how to adjust them, don't starve yourself you're a big fucken guy, EAT like one. Strength training is lookin good man, nice video.

do no starve yourself.
You do a crazy amount of activity.
My old roomate teaches 6 classes a day at a local mma gym.
this guy takes in over 7K calories daily (and tracks everything) hes 135lbs.
You are gonna need to make sure you know EXACTLY how much you need to eat to grow and how much to lean out.
You probably already kept track while leaning but I bet you have never kept track of your cals on a bulk.

And you know you can't say that and not have me brow beat you into it...

oh contrar my friend! I check EGO at the front door, my ego is evil and stupid as they come, lol. I refuse to hang out with him... he does manage to sneak in the car when we go drinkin, sneaky bastard!

shit I hate benches...I got a blown out shoulder...chest never gets sore from them but my crappy shoulder does

Thanx guys for the info, and boy am i glad your telling me to eat more,lol...After drastically cutting down on my food intake and carbs i have been fealing so dam weak after MMA training and by the time i get to the weight gym im exausted, and all my lifts have suffered big time!...Weights that i use to play with are fealing heavy to me now...I hope bumping up my calories a little will help me gain my strength back.

I bet you're not eating the right stuff at the right times and going too low carb

carbs arent evil, they just have to be the carbs you personally tolerate best.
you said you were a big pasta guy, make small changes...change the pasta to whole grain or dreamfields but feel free to smother it would a quality pasta sauce
if you're having something like sausage or meaballs or veal with your pasta change it to a lean meat, turkey sausage, bison...things like that

and EARN your carbs, you get them after you grapple, or fight, or lift, or after a run

risking further injury to please you? nah...ill pass...whenever I do bench itscause I want to and someone I trust to keep me safe is around.....benching is totally ego and I don't have any left
I wouldnt say bench presses are totally ego...If your maxing out with 1 rep ya thats ego, but barbell bench press excersises like flat and inclines is the bread and butter to a big strong thick impressive chest.

I think i read somewhere that you said you had a bad shoulder?...I notice most guys with shoulder troubles dont like barbell benches...My one buddy can rep the 150lb dumbells easily but 315 on the barbell hurts his shoulder, its weird to me but i know hes being honest ive seen him take 315 off the rack and say fuck that! and rerack it without even doing a rep because it hurt to much...I guess everyones body mechanics is different.
 
not that I'm a dude or anything (but used to bench more than a lot of dudes) but I have major problems with barbell flat bench since I effed my shoulder up
incline not as much but MORE problems with DB press...my right shoulder really gets squirrelly then
can't do dips at all either

can clean and press without major issue but strictly press hurts the hell out of it
 
I ate alot better today and threw sweet potatos in as my main source of carbs in my meals...Strength was better today in the gym.
