Breathing techniques

check it, over the past few years i've been told mixed things about breathing.

my boxing trainer would say to breathe in with your nose, and out with your mouth.

recently i was told it's better to breathe through your nose and out with your nose.

i know breathing is very important. i just want to know what y'all think is the best technique in order to get better results.

can someone give me the pros and cons for each if there are any? or does it even make a difference?

I assume you are talkin about cardio, since breathin while lifting is not that difficult ever.

When I do cardio I pretty much go in through mouth and out through mouth, just cuz I feel like I can move the most air that way... and start breathing deep right when you START running, instead of waiting till you feel like it's getting harder to breathe.
