A few days ago I drank 1 cup of coffee (if that, maybe a little less) at 6:30 AM, at 11 PM that night, I was still jittery, and was unable to fall asleep. Is this even possible? What would cause this to happen to me?

Dehydration? Did you drink enough fluids that day?

Could be mental. Also, if you haven't had caffeine/coffee in a while, you might have been more sensitive to it.

Ya I only drink it once every 2 weeks or so.

it seems for an awfull long time for the effects of the caffeine to be in your system.

Very unlikely it was the coffee. Caffeine has a half life of 5 hours. That would have been out of your system by noon that day. What are you taking for supplements? It's possible that one of your supplements enhances the effects of the caffeine.

Hmm I currently take:

ON Whey Protein
ON Casien Protein
ISS Multivitamin Pack
Vitamin C
Phosphagen HP
5-htp

Stress?

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I've had a couple days like that.

I used to take in a TON of caffiene. I cut it out all together. Now if I have just a little bit, in conjuction with a non-fatty meal.... it freakin' lasts all day long.

It also makes me irritable as hell.

Are you taking this to control appetiite or stress?

I was actually recommended to take it a while ago when I had a weird schedule to help me fall asleep, and sleep better and it worked...It also gives your body more seratonin, and honestly makes me feel better all day. Stupid things like bad drivers, doesn't seem to piss me off when I take it. Just makes ya feel more "positive"

Same thing for me, my stomach was gurgling the whole day...

I don't see anything that would enhance the caffeine. Stick decaf if it bothers you so.

Only thing I can think of showing this symptom, would be large doses of Vitamin C.

No comment about the Caffiene cause I don't have a clue :D

It's not the caffeinne. It's the Glucocorticoid levels that are responding to the decaying caffeinne levels. Caffeinne is just the instigator.

Out of curiousity, are you a nervous/anxious kinda guy? What ethnicity are you? Are you a student?

Ya, I'm pretty nervous/anxious sometimes, white male, and a college student :pissed:
