I need to boost up my calorie intake if I want to gain some mass, so I was maybe hoping you guys could help me out and post some foods where I can get the amount needed for my body. 5'9" 146. Thanks in advance.

Your more energy dense (but still more natural/healthy) options are:
Carbs - Sweet potato, yams, pearl barley, oats (whole or scotch), wholegrain pasta, brown rice, dried fruits... You could also include sprouted grain or pumpernickel breads

Proteins - Milk, whole eggs, lean red meats or game meats

Fats - Olive oil, nuts/nut butters, seeds

hmmm, I was thinking of buying Oatmeal and some Cheerios. the rest i got coverd the proien and fats part.

Emma, could horse be included as well? :D

What about a spoonful of natural pb in a bowl of oatmeal? I used to eat it that way for extra cals. in the morning after my running session.

has anyone experimented or use ground flaxseed meal in their oatmeal or hot breakfast cereal?
