want to gain weight and reach the size i want before i go on a cutting diet

So im asking you diet experts what i should eat everyday. Like i dont really know any specific kind of foods that are high in calories but no fat. Also what the hell are efa's? <---(is that how it's spelled?).

Can anyone have a daily meal layout of what to eat in the morning, at lunch, dinner and the small snacks in between. I need a list of some important foods to contribute to the bulking diet so i can go to the grocery store and buy it.

My training is fine as i know what im doing but i am lacking in the diet process. I appreciate the help.

A GREAT place to start is the sticky 'guide to ...' It also contains an explanation about EFA's as well a grocery list :thumb:

which sticky guide? The only grocery list i see is the veggies list. I dont see anything for efa's or high calories foods

The one I told you about 3 weeks ago.

And consuming fat doesn't necessarily make you fat. Good fats are as essential to your diet as much as complex carbs and protein are.

EFA's = essential fatty acids
They are important to your diet because your body can't produce them and they are important nutrients for overall health.

Just remember not to worry so much. Just eat a lot of whole, natural foods (Oats, brown rice, lean meats, natural PB, yams, fruits, veggies, etc.), lift heavy, and get plenty of sleep.

But what do I know, I'm only 17, right Rich?

OK Steve! you know you could have told me in person, im in the other room so you could save your fingers from typing. So i guess ill post too and see your response.

First of all, you said brown rice, oats, yams..etc are the "foods that is only for you" and i cant eat them so either show me how to cook them if i can have it too or tell dad to buy more(or i will). Give me a list of efa foods that you eat. Most of the food i am eating are high in calories but it still has a lot of bad fats. Also since when did you learn all this shit? I saw your post on muscle friction..you researching a little too much einstein? Lastly, i already looked at that website and it only tells me what to do. I want specific kinds of food because im always looking in the fridge and cabinets and i dont know what to eat other than a pbj/tuna/or turkey-ham sandwich every fricken day. And to be honest with ya, im already addicted to lifting/eating. So telling me not to worry about it is impossible. You did it so i guess its my turn.

First off, I wasn't trying to be a dick. You obviously took this the wrong way. And yes you are in the other room, but you apparently don't care about what I say, or have told you in the past so I figured I be the biggest fag in the world and explain it to you over the internet. Pathetic? Yes, but it's obviously the only way you'll listen to me. Secondly, you can't just rely on everyone here to figure everything out for you, or give you a perfectly planned out diet just because you gave them your "stats." You have to read, research, and educate yourself on what you need to do/eat. Everyone is different and has different goals. Sure, they can give you tips and advice to improve or change things if need be, but only you can make those changes. As for foods to eat, see above statement(s).

Worry about it? I don't "worry" about anything. At the start I did, just to make sure I was doing things correctly. I didn't ask the same questions everyday though. That's the difference between us. I learned from the mistakes I was making, and changed them for the better. I received a lot of help from the people on this forum, and I did a lot of researching on my own. Am I doing everything perfectly? No, but I'm learning new things everyday and making the necessary changes to what I'm trying to accomplish. There's a big difference between being addicted or obsessed, and being worried.

Question... doesnt it feel weird for u 2 to come outta ur rooms and look at each other after you just had an e-fight?
