I know from personal experience that HFCS can be very addicting.....I get cravings for soft drinks likes sprite and junk food like licorice all the time.
I was wondering if it is possible for foods high in glucose like white rice to cause the same "sugar crash" as junkfood like licorice and sprite?
Is there a level of difference between the possibility of craving the sugar (glucose) from white rice as opposed to getting a sugar craving from sprite, mountain dew, or licorice?
1.Is there any evidence that HFCS is more addicting and causes more "changes in moods" and more "sugar crashes" that high glucose foods like rice?
2. Since HFCS does not raise blood sugar levels nearly as much as glucose, dextrose, or even table sugar, how come you feel a huge but short boost in mood after eating licorice, but a minimal boost in mood after eating rice?
