If I need to include any information about myself before we can start dialogueing, let me know what you need.

My problem is I am not eating enough to achieve my goals. This happens to me quite often when I lift hard for a couple of months. My concern is not so much the physical part of it all, I am more concerned with how to overcome the psychological waining desire to eat.

I know EQ has the potential to stimulate hunger as well as GHRP-2 & 6.

Does anyone have any tips to increase my desire to eat? Like I said, I believe it may be psychological in nature.

I believe if you learn to cycle carbs you will get your hunger back quick! I have similar issues and this is all my feeling no science here but if I eat like crazy for a few days its much harder to pack in the cal's after that. Even when training hard.i think it's my body's way of staying balanced. Reduce cal's=reduced energy= rest time. I get to the point where I get home from work some days and just fall asleep. I think its from running hard for a while and not getting enough rest. If I only workout 3-4 days a week I usually don't run into this issue but if I kick it up to 5-6 on top of my work schedule I loose appetite and get sleepy.

So what I'm trying to say is take a day or two off hell even 4 if you have to and carb load as best you can and see if things don't significantly improve. If they don't then the above mentioned chems will do the trick

I had this problem. I learned first to basically force feed myself. I had to stretch my stomach to allow it to physically fit as much food in as I need to grow. Then find a protein and carb source you enjoy, this makes it easier to eat s you look forward to your meals. Another thing I've learned that I wish I new then is to use digestive enzymes. They help break down the food faster so it doesn't make you feel painfully full. Also do some cardio. It will also help metabolize all the extra macros you are taking in.

So hard to do cardio when your stomach is always full. The only way I can fit it in is early AM.

Some times you just have to do things that are uncomfortable to get where you want to be. Just like squats:)

I have found just a little cardio stimulates my appetite.
also dump all stimulants(gasp)( coffee, clen, prework drinks, meth) they grossly restrict appetite
ghrp 6 works really well for me. and again for me EQ does not have as pronounced effects on appetite that most claim it does for them.

I've never tried meth but I hear its awesome for a serious cut

I appreciate the advice. I am willing to try this. I start off good, but as I will out more and get stricter on my dietary intake, I slowly lose my desire to eat. I feel slightly nauseated before and especially after I eat. I wouldn't be too concerned if this was an isolated incident, but this happens to me everytime I start working out hard and eating "better".

I am about to workout and I feel yuck for lack of a better word. That is very counterproductive. The thought of whey protein makes me want to gag. Lol!!

I am going to evaluate my food intake over the past two months to see if there may be something that has changed. Wish I had previously logged my food intake before this go round.

Thanks again

Thank you. I run on the treadmill 3 to 4 times a week for 20 to 30 minutes at 60 to 75% output. Do you think I should increase this?

I also think sometimes a week off of eating like you should and lifting like you should is productive.

Like everyone else has stated i think you need to learn to just force food as much as you can, and add in some cardio if you havent already. You could also give B12 a try..

Do you have a good B12 starting point or should I just try it out? Pills or IM?

for me nothing works better then carb cycling, after having a low carb day followed by a no carb day all you want to do is eat and it keeps you shredded as well but it dose get my energy pretty low on no carb days especially when i have an extra physical day at work.

if that doesn't suit your fancy then i know i used Xero Limits: engorge a few times and that stuff was sick i was always hungry, i know its been out for a few years and its really cheep so maybe that will do the trick for ya

I have been checking myself to eat more and that seems to be increasing my appetite and energy. I also started taking a multivitamin. I may have been restricting my diet too much and not getting adequate micronutrients.

Food definitely equals fuel.

As a matter of fact, I are an entire rotisserie chicken yesterday in about two hours. Skin and all! !!!!!

Oh, did I mention the twix ice cream bar???? It was pretty amazing.

I wanted to thank everyone for their helpful advice in this matter. I am eating more and feeling better.
