Yes, and I've actually GAINED LBM while losing fat through manipulation of calories and macronutrients WITHOUT adding cardio to my schedule.

How much LBM?I've personally never seen anyone including myself gain any noticeable LBM while cutting i've gained stength but not any muscle mass but that's the beauty of it everyone is different.Still think if you can get your muscles to grow while reducing calories you got some great genes.![]()

Point is that we don't reduce calories that much and in many cases increase calories. It's about macronutrient manipulation and insulin control. More than gr8 genes....
There is a major debate here in the archives explaining the math.![]()

Have you ever seen any of those Body For Life challenges? Almost all if not all the people in those gain LBM while loosing BF.

I've never been able to gain that kind of muscle while staying around 8% bodyfat think your probably right you can shed bf while gaining muscle but only if your bf is high

Macronutrient manipulation is were it is at. I have been able to put on muscle and lose bf at the same time simply by manipulating my ratios of protein/carbs/fat without lowering my daily caloric intake.
I can do it and my bf% is not high at all. I can do it and stay around 10%. I try to never go over 12%. Your diet has to be really clean and specific and like the man said insulin control is important.
How much muscle do you gain on average(lbs/month) on this diet?
