The more of an incline you're using the more stress on the shoulders so I would think flat and decline bench press would be best but that could vary from person to person and depending on the injury. As x-factor mentioned above, a closer grip on the bar would probably help.
First and foremost, heal before you train. Get the doctor's approval first. Secondly, talking to a chiropractor might help because they understand the interconnecting systems better than most family doctors do. Lastly, try using a neutral grip or a closer grip. The neutral grip might alleviate some of the problem, granted now you would have the problem of purchasing a Swiss Bar.
your absolutely right. i see the best sports chiro in my area... hes a blessing from GOD..i go in there cant move my arm and pop bam boom im at like 90% but i never really heal all the way i go back to training a couple days later.. but like stated above im really going to take 6 weeks off rehabing...
