I like to broil my chicken breasts. Add spices (I like Garlic pepper, rosemary and lemon), rub it with just a little olive oil -- make sure to rub it all over to seal the breast, and BAM! Chicken breasts in like 12-15 minutes.
Exactly what I do. Cook's Illustrated also recommends a modified broiling procedure for more even cooking and less rubbery exterior -- put the pan at the bottom of the oven for the majority of the oven time, then a minute or two right under the flame, flip em, another minute or two, and they're perfect. This can bump the duration to 18-20 mins but results are good.
