Currently prepping for my first contest... just upped my tren dose nicely...

Well guys, as my title states, I've decided to prep and do my first male physique competition. The goal is to come in at 5'11 210lbs 6% BF. I'm currently sitting at 5'11 203lbs 8% BF. I've got 8 weeks to go...

Currently running:
Test E 250mg EW wk 1-15
Tren E 350mg EW wk 1-8
Tren E 600mg EW wk 8-17
Mast E 500mg EW wk 10-17
Winny 80mg ED wk 12-17
T3 50mcg ED
Clen 100mcg ED

Might also start running 4-5IU of HGH ED, but I don't expect anything from that for this contest, i've just got 1200IU sitting here and I figure I might as well throw it in the mix as well.

Currently just finished week 8... this was my first cycle with tren, and i didn't get much of any sides at 350mg a week, so I figured phuck it... i'll see what happens at 600mg. (fingers crossed I don't go batshit insane). Look like a decent contest prep cycle? This is the biggest cycle i've done by far, but I really want to place well and look my best.

Diet wise I've been switching between low carb days (100-150g), moderate carb days (150-250g), and high carb/refeed days (250-500g carbs). My protein has been staying around 300g, and my fats around 50-80g. The fat seems to be coming off nicely, I'm doing cardio 3x a week 30-45minutes at a time. Excited to do my first show. Any tips/critiques would be much appreciated! Thanks brahs!
 
Hey man- I read through your info and I'm not expert- did my first show last year. Have a few comments for you. As for the weight- it looks like you are expecting to gain 7lbs and lose bodyfat in 8 weeks. I know it's possible to gain lbs and lose fat- just be sure you don't focus too much on "making weight"- forget about the 210lbs goal and just watch how you are looking and adust from there.

Second- you doing any test wk 1-10?

Last- I'd watch that Tren dose- 600 seems REALLY high in my opinion.

I appreciate the comments, i'll definitely try not to get fixated on the scale, i mostly use the mirror and measuring tape to measure progress. I won't be upset if my weight isn't 210 but I look great.

And yes, I'm running test e at 250mg up until 2 weeks before the contest, than cutting it out. I only use 250mg since it seems to keep my libido in check just fine, and if i take much more than that i bloat like no other.

I agree with the tren dose seeming a bit high, it's my first cycle with tren and I started out at 350mg... and have been on it for close to 10 weeks now, the past few weeks i have been slowly ramping it up (400mg 1 week, then 450mg the next week, then 540mg, and now currently 600mg). I don't seem to get much for sides with the tren - just a bit more irritable, and i sweat a little more. 'trensomnia' hasn't even been too bad. If i start to notice a lot of sides i'll go back down towards 400-500mg. Also taking .5mg caber e3d.
 
You will start to see diminishing returns with higher doses. I'm prepping too and have seen more results toward a physique look by lowering my doses. Went from 525 tren to 150 weekly and the results I've gotten are great. However, my diet has been super tight and cardio 7 days a week. I just feel like I wasted gear at the higher doses and it messed with my body more. IMHO

The only thing I would change brother is switching to shorter esters the last few weeks. tren a, mast diprop, reason being easier to control e levels and less water retention. Also when you cut the injectables out 3-5 days prior to your show lines will be more visible and you will have a drier appearance compared to if ya ran the long esters through the show. Some peeps will run injects all the way through and just use more diuretics or whatever but it ain't worth the risks plus this your first show(just like me) so better to be safe and experiment later. Just my opinion. I'm running prop, tren, mast and just threw in winny at 8 weeks out as well at 50mg. 5'11" 210 at about 9-10% looking to compete at 6% myself around 190 ish give or take

Thanks a lot for the response bro, much appreciated. How's your prep going? And yea, this is the biggest cycle i've ever run to date (have run 10+ cycles with test e as the base, winny, dbol, anavar, etc.) Been cycling for 6-7 years now off and on. I'll see how the next week or two goes with the increased dose, and i might scale it back down to 450mg or so. Diet and workout regime is on point.

Good shit, thanks for the response man! I have been researching this for awhile, but there are always so many conflicting posts on the subject. Do you think tren and mast add water bloat? I was under the impression they did the opposite, and unlike test the esther isn't quite as important since there isnt any estrogen/water retention on cycle. (as opposed to using test prop over e/cyp for lowered water retention). I'm sure I could be completely off though, i'll definitely research this a bit more. I was planning on running the tren, mast, winny, t3, and clen right through the contest, and dropping the test e 2-2.5 weeks out from it. The t3 i'll likely stop 1-2 days in advance to try to look a bit fuller come contest day. I'm entirely winging it here though and just doing my own prep, so i'm very open to suggestions. back to researching i suppose!

Drop T3 when carbing up. There will still be some bloat no matter what even if it is 5%. Another benefit of cutting injects is no little bumps or swelling from injections. U want ur skin to be flawless ya know. I had a buddy who looked great but had a welt on his quad I was lmao last year... Ur shit sounds solid though bro
