Today was my first day of cutting, I plan to continue my usual 3 day spit chest/biceps, shoulders/tri and back and legs. I have also decided to cut out carbs completely after 5pm (other than veg) and eat lean meats only followed by a casein protein shake before I go to bed. Due to my working hours changing again I currently work between 5pm-1-30am. I work out at 9:30am. I am planning as of tonight to jog for 30 minutes before I go to sleep every night (1:30am-2am) of the week will this be ok or will I be overtraining in addition to 15mins cardio after my 3 weights sessions? Also I have a 10k run on June 5 2005 and havent done any training!

Make sure you don't sacrifice sleep. Resting is more important than running an extra half an hour.

wont 6 hours sleep per night be enough for recovery?

Depends on a lot of things, such as your age and your previous results with similar amounts of sleep, as well as your training intensity.

24, always work out with high intensity 45-60 mins heavy weights low reps, 30-60 secs rest between sets in the past getting too much sleep 10hrs!

Well hey, you might as well try it and see how it goes. I might not be able to get by on that much sleep, but you may do perfectly fine with it. Good luck.

No prob. :)

I wouldn't increase cardio and make changes to your diet at the same time. do one then wait several weeks and change the other.
