Daily Meals...How is this?

1 Scoop Whey Protien - 20g Protein
1 Cup Fat Free Milk - 8g Protein
TOTAL = 28g Protein

6: 45 AM -

2 Whole Eggs fried - 16g Protein
Wheat Bread - 4g Protein

TOTAL = 20g Protein

12 A.M. -

1 Can of Tuna - 39g Protein
4 Slices of Wheat Bread - 8g Protein

TOTAL - 47g Protein

3 P.M. -

2 Beef Hot Dog - 14g Protein

2 Hot Dog Roll - 4g Protein

Gatorade -

TOTAL = 14g Protein


5 P.M. - Post-workout -

2 Scoop Whey Protein - 40g Protein

2 Cups Fat Free Milk - 16g Protein

Fat Free Yogurt - 6g Protein

TOTAL = 60g Protein

7 P.M. -

Detour Protein Bar - 30g Protein

TOTAL = 30g Protein

9 P.M. - Dinner

TOTAL = Range from 20 - 50g Protein



GRAND TOTAL = 219g - 249g Protein

I weigh 140 pounds. Is this good amount of protien? I will do the calories/carbs/fat later. I just wanted to see how much protein this would be.
 
what are your goals?


2 Whole Eggs fried - 16g Protein
Wheat Bread - 4g Protein
dont count the protein in the wheat bread.. cut back to 1 whole egg and add more egg whites.

1 Can of Tuna - 39g Protein
4 Slices of Wheat Bread - 8g Protein
why so much bread? is it 100%whole wheat or whole grain? how about adding in some oatmeal, brown/wild rice, sweet/red pototoes, etc.

2 Beef Hot Dog - 14g Protein

2 Hot Dog Roll - 4g Protein

Gatorade -

:finger: do you know what hot dogs are made of?? :barf: get rid of them, full of processed scraps, nitrates, preservatives, etc. same as the hot dog buns, far far too processed. switch the gatorade for water or crystal light.

2 Scoop Whey Protein - 40g Protein

2 Cups Fat Free Milk - 16g Protein

Fat Free Yogurt - 6g Protein

TOTAL = 60g Protein

no milk, no yogurt post workout, just the whey and then add in some complex carbs.

Detour Protein Bar - 30g Protein

at 140lbs you dont need THAT much protein. 1-1.5g/lb bodyweight is enough. 140-210g's. and keep in mind that this should optimaly be divided equally among each meal. not 20g's in one and then 40/50g in another.

Id be interested to see your other choices in foods as well.
 
:O Wow that is a lot of protein. My goal is 1 to 1.75 per body pound. The higher end only during comp. time to help retain my muscle while trying to get cut.
 
Why the huge time gap from 6:45 to 12? That's not good.

Because of school. I can only eat once in school
 
The reason I dont have like the best food possible in the diet is because I am 14 and I cant really always have things like chicken breast or turkey breast. What can I eat other than a hot dog?

your diet will do for now. obviously it sounds like you will eat higher quality protein whenever you can so don't sweat eating the hot dogs. try to learn as much about nutrition and how it directly effects your endocrine system.
