When I first started training I always got sore the very next day. About 6 months- a year ago I started feeling the soreness two days after the workouts. Does this mean anything? Is my body trying to tell me something?

The only info I can provide is anecdotal, but here it is. I have ALWAYS been the most sore two days after. Most of my friends have said they experience the same thing. Not sure about the physiological reasons for it. I'm sure someone else here could tell ya.

delayed soreness

I am very new to working out and I have found I am more sore upon waking up the second day after a workout. Not sure why but with what I am hearing here it must be normal.

The same thing has happened to me, when I used to get sore it was normally the day after, but lately (say 3 or 4 months now) I usually don't get sore the first day after a workout, but the second day I get pretty sore. It probably means something, possibly to do with when your muscles grow, but it's apparently pretty common.
