Sup guys I didnt know which forum to post in, so I put it in Supplements and in Training. Here goes.. Lately I've made some very good gains. My diet has been in order, my training has been more consistant and on track than ever before, and about 2.5 weeks ago i started taking CellTech Creatine. I was putting up on bench 275 for 4-6 reps. That was 3 weeks ago. Today I put up 275 for 9 reps. Is that mainly due to creatine? It doesnt help THAT much does it? I wanna be proud of myself for the gains, and I am, but I keep thinking its only because of the creatine. Could it be? . If it helps, Im 19, 5'10", and 205 lbs

the creatine could have somehting to do with it, but be proud of the gains you are making
all creatine does is provide your muscles with added energy, it does not make the muscle stronger so far as i know

it is not unusual to make improvements like that, keep lifting and keep gaining

You should be proude of yourself anyway. The creatine doesn't make up for the obvious amount of training you have been doing. I have seen plenty of guys taking creatine and never gain anything, usually it's because they don't eat enough or lift hard enough to notice anything.

Even roids won't help a lazy ass. I would be proud, plus it might have helped you blast through a plateau. Good job!

if i were you i would drop cell tech for a less expensive creatine that was cheaper, and heres why. cell tech has 10 grams of creatine per serving. if you jus tstarted creatine, you wont need that much to make some nice gains. try 3-5 grams to start out, after you finish your loading stage that is.

Thanks for the info RCfootball87. I have had many different brands of creatine before, but found that celltech give me the best gains. Although its expensive and has more sugars, I still would rather take it during my bulking period. GoPro has helped me out with my diet and taking cell tech. I appriciate the advice tho for sure!:thumb:

The loading phase is a scam, your body produces creatine naturally so your just adding to something you already have. Your just gonna pee the extra stuff out.

I don't know, it's debatable.

I don't think you should touch creatine at age 19. It will only lead to you thinking that gains you are getting naturally are actually coming from creatine. At 19, protein and glutamine should be enough.

Creatine is naturally produced by the body, many studies show it does help, I don't see why his age has anything to do with it.

If I was short on money and had to pick between creatine and glut, I'd go with the creatine hands down.
