i know it has all shorts of shit in it like artificial flavours and colours.

but i just want to know two things.

1 - if i was trying to lose weight/fat will it stop me doing so. (isn't it just cals in vs cals out, in which chase i am ok because one glass is like 1 cal).

2 - will it effect me trying to build muscel, due to all the crap in it.
assuming my diet and training is in check.

i know many of you think Diet Coke is a load of shit, but i simply need the answer to these two questions, because as long as it doesn't effect the above i will continue to drink it.
 
Pretty good down to earth question. Ive read a lot of shit saying that the body recognizes certain things in diet coke and thinks its sugar nonetheless, but its hard to re-iterate that.

Id like it explained again too.

I know that you should limit diet sodas and always chose them over regular sodas, but Id like to know more.

Yeh i know i dont really keep up with it no more. they used to show UFC here in the uk on the barvo channels but no longer do so i dont keep upto date with it no more.
