Currently im on a cycle of ara-test. Its my 2nd week, when i first started i was 198 now im up to 208. I've noticed gains in my gym routine The main reason i started this was to lose fat and gain muscle. I've been trying to eat a lot of protein and keep my carbs down. My question is why am i putting more weight on, instead of burning it off?
 
You are trying to lose fat not weight, correct? If so, you should not be concerned about putting on weight. You are probably holding a lot of extra water. Do you look fatter or have you monitored your body fat %?
 
Yeah im trying to get cut. But i look fatter and when i weigh myself im putting more weight on. Also im trying to drink over 64 fl oz. of water a day plus and extra 32 fl oz for every 1/2 hour in the gym.
 
The only reason you would put on fat is if you ate way too many calories. If it is only your second week, I imagine water accounts for a big part of the gain, but I will leave this for the experts to address...
 
what would you suggest to lower my water retention?
 
People often take about 10mg of Nolva for this. But, you will piss the water out during your pct. Don't be overly concerned about the water. What does your cycle look like?

are you counting calories ?
 
counting all cals makes weight loss very simple...but as piratefromhell mentioned getting your bf checked is the absolute best way to determine if a fat loss diet is working or not. makes it easy to tell if it is just weight gain from water weight or if your caloric intake needs to be adjusted...
