Ok so I'm 18 years old and I've been in the gym for about 2 years of serious lifting. I'm perfectly fine on the training part of my routine but I need a little extra advice/help on the dieting part. I'm currently 280 lbs., not too much fat but it's still there. My main goal is to cut and really go for that massive yet shredded look. My goal right now is to get as much done as I can within a years time.
My main question is what should my diet be like if I really want to cut. I know the general eat about 6 meals a day, make sure I get lots of protein, good fats, carbs for energy. But I don't know what to eat and when I should eat it. ex: morning, pre-workout, post-workout, before bed etc. If anyone has a decent link to all this kind of information or just good knowledge it would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Also, another question I had about meals throughout the day. How big of a size meal should I eat? I currently eat about 5 meals a day now still with breakfast lunch and dinner the biggest and little snacks in between.
1.- 4-6 whole eggs or a bowl of oatmeal
2.- depending on what I have in the house or what my dad brings home. Sometimes a subway sandwhich or a deli sandwhich of some kind, past week i've had chile.
3.- Pb&J with natural penut butter and an orange or nutri grain bar.
4.- whatever i have for dinner that night, no problem with this meal.
5. a whey shake
Somewhere between 3 and 4 is when I work out and after my workout I have a shake of whey. This is the best I can do with my current knowledge and household food. Any suggestions in my eating would be really helpful. Should I be eating more protein? Is a whey shake about an hour before bed good? You know, stuff like that. Thanks.
