what are your opinions of this method? i was thinking about giving it a try.

No, I did it in the past and it sucked ass

I have in the past. I think it makes a decent change of a pace for a mesocycle, but I don't think I could continue doing it for an extended period of time. I used to train full body sessions; 2 sessions one week and 3 sessions the following week. It still left me feeling kind of burned out after a little bit.

If you're talking bout IM H.I.T., i'm doing it at the moment. I like it.

I think HIT is an excellent way to train. I've done it in the past and will do it again in the future.

Soon as im done with my Cut I plan on doing IM HIT. Starting to read up on it now though, so much to read.

80-90% of trainers would benefit greatly from proper HIT training. Problem is, while most people believe that they training intensely enough, in fact they do not.

80-90% of trainers would benefit greatly from following any training program to the letter and having a good diet.

I used it exclusively in the past... (or variations of it)..

I think its great, but like TP said, MOST people who use HIT dont train intensely enough to see the results that they could achieve.

worked really well for me, lost 40 lbs with a good diet and HIT training.

Problem with HIT is your body adapts to it very fast. So like 3 weeks in, I stopped seeing any results. Complete waste of time except for the fact that I learned it sucked.... so I guess it wasn't a COMPLETE waste of time.

Mike Mentzer thrived on it. I use this method once a year for change of pace.

Ive started the IM HIT training and its going well so far.
