or stairstepper like on the treadmill say 4.5 speed nice lil steady jog for say like 30 minutes is that gonna burn more fat then running a faster speed for 30 minutes cause i keep hearing that lower speed is burning more fat and faster speed is just cardio i dont get it ,sorry if this is dumb question but any advice i would appreciate , i cant exactly remmeber the speed of the stairmaster but its like level 7 would be slower walk up then like 11

Lower intensity cardio is what optimizes fat burning during the activity itself. However, shorter intense cardio sessions can give you a really awesome metabolism boost afterwards. Either way is effective.

the higher the intensity of exercise the more glucose/glycogen utililized for energy during the training session and the more fat will be oxidized post exercise.

'more fat off the stomach' is not possible

Body fat is lost evenly throughout the body when you take in less calories than you need.

Just that some people have a predeposition for adding it to different places.

What ever exercise you can do longer will burn more...

But in general... The higher the intensity... the higher the burn -

Any logical person (see Cowpimp and LAM above) would have disregarded the "off the stomach" part and just answered his question.

No, becuase the stomach fat is what is bothering the guy in the first place.

So just giving advice that target weightloss does not exist so the person doesn't end up doing 1000 sit-ups a day.

Uhm, no? They are trying to help him out, even if he didnt ask for that particularly. Next month he will make a thread about not losing weight on his stomach, because he believes he can spot reduce. Those "illogal" people helped him out, while you on the other hand, called them out on it, and added nothing to the original question. They actually helped him out more by giving him real life experience of how losing weight works.

Read his question again. His question regards cardio for fat loss, not high reps for toning. Show me where he mentions doing 1,000 situps in his post.

I don't really care what you think.

Why are you picking up on our spelling mistakes? To show us how clever you are?

the questions have been answered.

If you want to burn fat and keep muscle loss to a minimum id suggest low intensity. If you just want to burn fat and dont have a problem with losing some muscle then higher intensity.
