Most of the people on these Boards needless to say are into working out and being physically fit. the purpose of this is not only for health reasons but to look good. So if you work hard at something and are proud of it you want to show it off.

So the subject of this forum is do you purposely wear clothes that show off your hard work?

In general from my experiences I have noticed in the past guy friends that see a women who has a good body is scantily dressed and strutting herself they do not seem to mind and think it is great. If a women who is overweight and dressed scantily she is normally laughed at and labelled a fat slut.

Then for guys it seems be a double standard. If a normal looking guy is seen without a shirt on or a tight fitting t-shirt no one seems to say anything but if it is a muscular well built guy the comments are "Who does he think he is" or some other comment to ridicule the guy.

So I thought this would be an interesting thread to discuss how many of you out there, men and women that show it off or choose not to and what kind of reaction and experiences you have had.

For many, it is the satisfaction within, not about showing off to others.

I refuse to walk around without a shirt. I do not...DO NOT...want to be labled as vain or arrogant. I know that my body is above average, but I don't have to show it off every chance that I get. Yes, I do only wear clothes that at least hint that I have a nice body, but never anything tight. I only wear things that lay nicely on my shoulders and traps, but not worried about much other than that.

If u got it flaunt it! :D Seriously, if someone thinks I'm weak, I take off my shirt. Its called impressing the bitches.

Taking your shirt off to show men you are not weak....You really are a fag :hair:

I think I have an O.K. build.. Nothing to brag about for sure. I don't go out of my way to show my body, but I can take off my shirt or wear a pair of shorts and feel good about the way I look. :D

I see you're not gay, you're Bi sexual :barf:

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
i just say fuck em and walk around in posing trunks and flip flops all day.

I do like to wear things that display my best assets......And im not JUST talking about "the boys"...lol

I have a lean/athletic build I try to buy tapered shirts or polo/short sleeve type shirts with decent cuts & maybe with 5% spandex. They're very slightly form fitting, but not fruity or club-type wear.

Kicking around I wear lots of ringer/novelty-T's & my build looks OK in those.

On hot days, schleping around I may wear a clean, tight wifebeater to the park or garage sale-ing....guilty!!

Even guys with good/muscular builds look funny @ the mall or restaraunts if thy're wearing skin tight lycra or t-back tanks....

when i get in the cutting phase for summer, my abs just explode out, and quite frankly looks great....plus with all the work of dieting to get to that point, damn fucking rights i'm gonna walk around without a shirt whenever the hell i can.

i'm just sick of people thinking i'm gay or arrogant cuz i'm in great shape.....its usually ugly fat people saying that, so whatever, but still......

i also don't like how a fat guy can lose 50 pounds for the express purpose of looking better and everyone congratulates him on it, but i go on creatine, go on a cutting diet and work my ass off in the gym to look better and all of a sudden i'm a vain twat.

bottom line......ugly fat people are generally insecure and have to cut down others to make themselves feel better.....

I wear loose clothes, I like to go undercover but people still notice.
Just yesterday this stranger see's me from across the street and flexes his chest and started saying stuff like damn your big....lol whatever.

ditto...I don't even think I have worn a tank top since 1988. just about all of my shirts are 2XL so it hids everything nicely with out being to baggy.

one of the smartest things Dg has ever said! :clapping:

I am the same way LAM, its all about being humble.. if you got it the right people will know without you having to either go out of your way to try and advertise yourself in a vein attempt to mask insecurity or to display your unfounded arrogance.. thats my feelings on it

If I had something to flaunt, I'd wear comfortable loose fitting clothes, just like I do now.

aint that the truth.

I wear everything baggie. I hate being showy. i hate having my shirt off in public.

Depends on the situation, usually nowadays I wear baggy clothing, but when I worked in a bar everything had to be tight. I got a hell of a lot more respect from people when my arms were bulging out compared to them being hidden away.

respect comes from within my son.

Not from drunk idiots looking for fights it doesn't :nope:

flaunting is being full of yourself.....no flaunting

Men's clothes today are a lot more body concious than they have been in years past. If you've got a nice physique and wear properly fitted clothing, then everyone is winning.
