Does anyone "bulk" anymore?

I don't bulk to that extent because clothes are too darn expensive. I'll gain 10lbs. during the winter and train like hell. Then I'll lean out for spring and summer.
 
My first and only attempt at bulking has just been cut short...lasted 3 weeks :D...though i never intended to get all fat and outta shape like I think you're talking about.
 
I'm 20 lbs heavier than I was in May of 2001. I intended to get larger. My gains were nice until the holidays and family showed up. I think the last 5lbs was stimulated by pumpkin pie, ice cream and cheesecake.

with the way my work is i bulk up from june to late november when i get laid offi start to cut up .i have gotten just a tad bit fatter than normal.i'm at 257 right now and my % went to 15%, lazy is a good word to use.:( :( :)

Thats actually what I just did. At my last contest I was at a 178lbs , and around Christmas I reached my max bodyweight of 220lbs.
Right now I am ripped at 185lbs. So I gained around 7lbs of muscle.
 
it would be hard for me to really bulk because I play hockey year round and I don't want all of that extra weight. not to mention it would be harder to maintain the extra weight while playing so much. for me it works best to try and add a little weight at a time while staying relatively lean.
 
At one point I always tried to gain weight. But, now that i have gotten a little older i just like to have that ripped lean look.... During the winter is when i tend to get a little heavier and during spring, summer and fall I maintain a lean look...............

Im trying to do that right now. I am wanting to gain around 20 - 30 by summer but i am skinny and could use some fat. :cry:
