Doing three of them all in one day

I have many friends that enjoy training their Pecs, triceps and shoulders all in the same workout, cause the exercises can 'link' and alot of them worked on triceps. However, since my workout consist of heavy intensity, by the time I finish Chest and Triceps, there ain't anymore energy left for me to deliver a solid, decent Shoulder workout.

So I change my routine, and right now in Day 1, I train my Pecs and Abs, and than the very NEXT day (Day 2) than I train my Triceps and shoulders. Is this a reccommended thing to do?

Hey.....I have same experience, I was thinking of doing chest,shoulders and triceps.....But I don t have strength to do it on same day, or if I do I can t do it with intensity I wish to.....so I don t do them on same day...

I ll do shoulders today..together with quads, shoulders hard...quads not so hard

I wouldn't train shoulders on chest day. I wouldn't be able to handle as heavy a weight as I would like. I would also not train shoulders the day after. I would take at least one day rest in between for triceps to recover.

I do the whole upper body in one day, no problems here

I had the same problem when working all three in one day so i switched up my workout. Right now i work Shoulders and triceps on Monday and then on friday i do chest and abbs. With the old workout, i just felt that my sholders were lagging and not making the progress that i was making with chest and triceps. Now i feel like they are coming along nicely.
