Is it true that you cannot digest food while sleeping? I like to eat a high protein snack 45 minutes prior to sleeping, usually cottage cheese, salmon, or hardboiled eggs.
I've heard that when you eat before bed the food just sits there and doesn't get digested until you wake up.
