In times like these it is hard to think positively but all is planned out for us and try to think of how this is going to build you into an even more determined and positive person (if thats possible).

i hope that you are feeling better soon and that you know that we are all here for you when your feeling down. think of how much stronger you will be once you come back into the comps. man your going to kick some major asssssss.

Rissole, Mudge, J'Bo, Fit Freak...

...thanks to all of you for your support and encouragement. The hammie is healing but will take a good 2 months to get even near normal. I have doubled up on my upper body efforts and have continued my diet. My plan is to be bakc to training legs by around mid-June which should give me enough time to get them back for December. In the meantime my upper body is starting to take shape and I hope that I will be my all-time best by September. Knock me down and you can bet I'll get back up twice as strong!!!

YOU GOT THE DRIVE BROTHA

Thanks my friends...

...Rissole, whenever you're ready!

gopro, sorry to hear about your injury.

i remember breaking my femur a few years back and it turned out to be one of the best things that happened to me so far. it helped me realize how fortunate i was to be able to walk in the first place. it helped me to become more patient and to fight back stronger and harder. i hope the same thing happens with you and you will be twice as good as you were before the injury.

heal up and go get that pro card!

how's the leg?

are you still competing this year?

I noticed that you changed your user title, it used to say "in 2003".

Well...

1-I changed my title to better reflect what I do around here
2-I don't know if I will be able to compete at my best this year or at all because of this injury
3-I will be changing my entire profession very soon (well, same area, different job type) and it will be throwing off my whole 2003 plan

The leg, however, is doing much better. I just started training them again after about 6 weeks off, but it will be about 6 more weeks of light training before hitting them seriously.

Damn GP!!! that fuqing sucks and I know what your going through. I have been out of the gym for about 3 months now since the BIG SNOW which tore up my rotator cuff. I'd take the pain and injury for you bro if I could since I'm already laid up and not planning on competing. Please keep us posted as to the results. I wish you all the best buddy.

I've just read the rest of the posts and I'm glad to hear it is coming around nicely. Just stay positive and motivated my friend. A few months off your goal is no big deal. Your heart is as big as your body so I know you will overcome this diversity and come out better then you would have in June. That is the kinda guy you are. That which does not kill us makes us stronger. (and I'm not talking about physical strength) Keep that in mind. ;)

Fire...you are the best bud! Thanks for your words of encouragement.
