HI All,

Trained like a Bat out of Hell last Night. Ran 4 kms in 19 minutes did shoulders, legs, back and abs. Had my usual Testogel, Tribulus and Coffee. felt good at training and pushed very hard. I thought I was Superman and was ready to take on anyone.

Now I feel like an old 33 year old man with no energy. I slept 12 hours and woke up like I was in Guntanamo Bay. I feel wrecked. Really down and out.

There must be some defficiency in my Post workout. Please help, Anyone know what food I should eat?

I have been having boiled eggs, wholegrain foods, water and chicken.

I want to hityb the gym again tonight and would hope the Testogel and Tribulus will give me the energy. they may not get me through tonight I feel like a dry camel in the Saharah desert during Rammadan.

Can anyone help get this 33 year old rapid weight losing man back in to the gym today?

Or do I rest?

What foods can help?

So you are on cut?

Calories below Maint.

Unfortunately that is part of the battle of being on a cut.

Post up your diet and current training program. Maybe there is some things that can be looked at.

Yea I say it's typical Male Ego shit. You cut with diet. If you're running low calories doing a bunch of work can lead to this exact situation. Many of us have to hold back when on a cut so we don't end up sick. I'm one of them. Built warns about this ALL the time in her threads.

It's not necessarily your post workout. Its your whole day...of low intake(I presume) probably not the greatest macros (we'll see if you post them up) and killing yourself during your workout.

I always feel drained while cutting, which I really need to do.

Sounds like you're burning up all your fuel.

Are you doing carbs postworkout? Basically training + running burns up all your glycogen, so carbs + protein pwo helps replace that.

Try using an ECA stack, it's not a solution but it'll help a bit.

first I would suggest not training the 2 biggest body parts together the legs and back. they both required high levels of intensity and great amounts of energy.

basically it sounds like you simply did not supply yourself with enough energy for the level of exercise that you performed.

Yep-ran out of gas, it sounds like. Overtraining is pretty common when cutting weight. Gotta find a balance and don't overdo it. I'd take a day or two off and you will come back stronger.

I agree w/ Merkaba its your low caloric intake through out your day thats draing you! maybe try carbs that are lower on the glycemic index in moderation??

I definitely agree with Sassy you need carbs postworkout and preworkout(in my opinion) but def. postworkout. Consuming high carbs immediately after workout is essential for replenishing glycogen..
- I recommend 70g waxy maize w/ protein pwo

absolutely!!!!

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Can anyone say cortisol? Cutting plus lots of activity can make one feel awful.

Thanks for those who responded.

I guess I need to eat wholegrain carbs and rest. Nothing happens overnight.

Sometimes I put instant coffee in my PWO drink. It actually seems to help.

Yeah guys,

I have been resting last three days. I am on my way to the gym now and I am planning on having wholegrain carbs after my workout. Today i have the oppurtunity to do my workout in the morning. That means I can consume foods afterwards that my body requires to overcome training.

Usually I workout at night. That means I dont eat much food after the workout and that may explain the reason as to why I feel awful some mornings.

For those who are interested I have maintained 89 kgs body weight. Still have plenty of tightning up to do, but generaly Im happy with my progress.

Life has changed for the better!!!

Exactly!!! Try breaking up back and legs.
Chest/Tris
Back/shouders
Legs/Bis
Abs anytime And don`t run on leg day.

Or
Chest/abs
Arms/abs
Legs/abs
Back/abs
Off
Repeat
That with controlled/better thought out below maintenance calories will get you there.

Wholegrain Carbs os Post Workout help me

Caretaker,

I allways without fail start my workout with 21 minutes of cardio high intensity. Running speed between 8-16 kms per hour at intervals of two minutes.

After that I train the rest of my body using weights Muscle Resistance Training.

Now I heard the legs get the Test moving so i do legs twice per week even after i run. During the leg workout I train my back or shoulders depending on how I feel. I dont rest at all between sets. Its legs- then back- then legs.

Yes I sweat and Im tired but I thrash myself bcoz research concluded that thrashing yourself exerts huge amounts of energy. Now I need to do that to trim up after losing 40 odd kgs in past 14 months. I dont have HGH so I cant get my skin tight through that avenue nor can I get chisseld pecs. I dont have the money for plastic surgery so that aint an option and with the results Im seeing i belive I can get the fat away without surgery on the chest. I may not look like arnold but atleast I will look Ok for a 33 year old man, and hopefully in 6-12 months I may have the pecs, if not I will continue to train like a Bat out of hell because I enjoy it.

How else am I going to get results everyone?

Tell me?

There is no other way. What I am focusing on now is higher intake of LCarnitine to dispose of that stubborn awful fat thats remaining, Arabica Coffee to help break the fatdown in the liver, apples so I can maintain regular bowel movement and last but not least water.

All the above foods will assist me in my quest. If I die during the process then so be it. I am so determined to whipe that smartass smurk off my brother in laws face that I will die trying. He is a very fit man and likes to talk down to the unfortunate people who didnt know how to look after themselves bcoz no one told them to excersise enuff!!!

I took memeber name "flatheads" advice and started to implement core excersise and I must say I think they work better than the ISO excersise. When I can do chinups and dips unassisted then Im sure I will be ripped or look leaner bye that time.

My gym wants me to give them b4 and after pics and a testimony. I refuse to do so because the information they gave me was 4 sets 20 reps of this and that, which I beleive would have been an impediment anyway.

I guess memebers here can take credit for my advancements in the last several weeks.

Anymore suggestions?

Please put them up.

Sure there is!
With a wronge diet like yours stimulants will not make the different.

First of all if you are runner (as first activity) check your diet, chos must be between 50 and 55% in you diet, from 50-30-20 to 55-30-15 (cho-pro-fat).

Change it to this:

Prewo: simple cho (powder 45-30min) OR (solid 120-90min)
RUN
Postwo: simple cho (powder 0min)
Postwo: pro whey (powder 30min)

You'll experience a brand new feeling... Garantee!
