Ok so I'm back in college now and for a few of the days, specifically today, the classes are messed up. I'll have a lesson at 10:45 to 12:15 but then another at 1:05 till 2:35 and then one at 3:30 till 4:15. I say this because there is barely any time in between to get a good meal in, say if it was a 2 hour break I could go town and get something? So yes obviously I'm going to start preparing food for college but the thing is its so hard for me to stomach cold food. People will say harden up but the food actually comes back up again. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm sure some people will be the same

*Also, there is a tesco right next to the college so I've got some access to certain foods

Is there a cafeteria? Ask to use the microwave. Bring a small cooler w\ an ice pack, and you should be ok. Worst case, find some low carb low cal wraps and get some good deli style meat (yeah I know its not that great but do what ya gotta)

There is always canned tuna/salmon you can use. Things like fruits and nuts are easy to pack for on the go options as well. Beef jerky isn't the most ideal food, but a lot are high in protein and low in calories and fat actually. Like Cgrant said, you could always pack a cooler with some deli meat and yogurt/cottage cheese for something cold to eat. As for trying to stomach cold meat, it's far from easy but unless you want to resort to fast food or school food there isn't a lot of options.

I have done but the cafeteria is run by a private firm so the staff are always worried they will get told off :( What I usually did was stick to plain chicken baps, but these are only thin slices and obviously don't have much nutritional benefit

what about those on the go tuna packets/kits?

Or fill a half gallon cooler with pre made protien shake and sip on that shit all day?

lol

I do the same thing bro. You have much more time than I do though. I have about 10 minutes inbetween classes that should take 20 to get to. Here's what I do.

I make PB&J's and other sammiches. Yes sammiches.

Take an empty shaker bottle with protein powder in it. Stop by your cafeteria/student union on the way to the next class and grab a milk or OJ to throw in there.

You can get those tuna kits.

Protein Bars. I like the Met-rx ones. 30g of protein 400 cals.

Bring a lunchbox and walk around with it all day. I don't know how big you are, but fuck what everyone else thinks. I know no one at campus would ever say anything to me. Some days I even bring my "Dinosaurs" lunch box. OSL knows what it looks like

I remember those days, I also remember eating like garbage and drinking everyday and still not gaining a pound.

Got that shit out of my system a long time ago. Living off campus helps too. Every once in a while I'll throw down though. I'm taking the long route though. I work full time and take classes. It sucks but not being in debt is going to be nice! :winkfinger:

I drink shakes when I go to class. My University is 55 miles away and my long day is 4-10pm. I take my muscle milk(yes you heard me muscle milk, its lactose free) because its full of calories that mixes easy in water.

Sandwiches are a great move too. Nothing better than a PB/J that has been marinating all day breaking down the bread(I am serious). It just gives me flashbacks of being a kid and sitting in the cafeteria.

That's what I'm saying! Make sure to bring napkins. :winkfinger:
