Hey everyone.

I've been cutting/trying to lose weight for the past few months and have gotten relatively where I'd like to be. I'm 25, and weigh about 178lbs at 5'8.

While on the cut I work out 4 days a week, a little over an hour of weights followed by 30 minutes of cardio.

The only supps I'm taking are multi-vitamin, multi-mineral, and fish oils.

My diet has been this more or less everyday.

Breakfast/Preworkout: 1 egg, 4 egg whites, 1 slice wheat bread, 1 banana.
Post workout: 2 scoops whey
Lunch: 8 oz deli turkey, 2 slices wheat bread, 1 pickle
Snack: 1 slice wheat bread, 1 tblspoon of natural peanut butter
Dinner: This varies, but usually something like white rice, a veggie, chicken, salad.
Snack: Low-fat cottage cheese w/ pineapples

I also drink a lot of water, and maybe one diet coke on occasion. With this diet I've lost a little over 15 lbs over the past 3 months. My lifts have gone down which bothered me at first, but don't mind so much anymore as I feel alot slimmer and have more endurance.

I want to try and bulk up a bit now, nothing too crazy, but add some size and have my lifts get on the rise. What should I add to my diet? I'm gonna make sure to add some carbs to my post workout shake, and probably add a casein shake before bed, but other than that I don't know what else I should change.

I also have some supps that have been just sitting in my room. From these what should I start with.

I have
- Green Magnitude
- Golden Finish
- Purple Wraath
- Animal Pak
- Animal M-stak
- Animal Pump
- Animal Nitro
- Mass FX
- Hyperdrol X2
- Blue up (reg and stim free)
- BSN Cellmass
- L-Glutamine
- L-Arginine
- SizeON

Thanks for any help. Its much appreciated.

Welcome to bulking, which is the most fun phase in my opinion. I reckon, you have figured out your maintenance weight. Insert your diet into Fitday or any other calculators that are available online to see how many calories you are consuming and what your macros look like.

To bulk, increase your calories by 10-20% over your maintenance weight & pound iron. Concentrate on compound body movements. Reevaluate every couple of weeks to track progress. You may have to increase or decrease your intake depending on the results. Get your diet in order, which is the most important part of your bulking phase.

Keep your protein intake at 1-1.5 gm/lean body weight. Definetely add fast acting carbs to your post workout meal. If you can't do Cottage cheese(I can't because it tastes like crap), do Casein at night.

All those supps just laying around? I don't know all of them, but Gaspari size on is an excellent product. You got the Creatine covered with that. You are already taking the MV & Fish oil caps. May I also suggest Calcium, Vit C, Vit E& Caffeine.

Good luck putting on pounds and pounds of mass......

My suggestion is to find your maintenance calories (doable with fitday); do this for about 2-3 weeks. Find a comfortable way to balance what you can do to balance homeostasis. Once you have that comfortable zone of calories, add in 10-20% more food of healthy, clean food. It is a balancing act, but it does work. This is also a very simplistic way of doing it. You dont need to go nuts and eat everything in sight.
