I'm fine with the idea of it - salt works too, but salt stings if you have any cuts. Sugar won't, so it's a good idea.

I just use scrubby gloves with the coconut oil. I don't like scents.

sugar scrub.

jk jk don't do it.

you must mean the oil DOMS posted?

Native American ancestry means very little hair on arms legs etc but even blondes have thick dark pubes requiring mucho maintenance. don't use a razor on your pubes that is shared by anyone other than your lover and it should be very fresh. a dull razor will cause bumps faster than anything else.

not sure if anyone else will agree but to fight dry flaky patches you could try a sugar scrub. i love them.

just mix a little white or brown sugar (brown smells better), with

an oil of choice, coconut extra virgin olive oil or almond oil,

break in one or two vitamin e capsules

and maybe add a little touch of vanilla if you like the smell.

finally a use for sugar. this is just to exfoliate not to use on any sore patches.

Okay thats why I bought a new razor. I think I should buy another razor for my face, what do you think?

Also I was told recently to shave to the direction the hair is growing, not against it or it will cause red marks in-grown hair or some shit. Is this true? Should I only shave in one direction?

@ Built: Thanks for the tip on applying the coconut oil, I'll get it wet and put the oil on my shoulders and that area once a day. And avoid soap.

I recently shaved (before I knew all this) and I notice everytime I shave it gets worst (razor etc..problem) so im going to start taking better care.

Little_Wing you suggest I try that thing you posted there, I mean you think it'll help out my solution?

it won't hurt and helps keep pores clear of dead skin so yea but just don't be too rough in your scrubbing and rinse well. i shave any which way that will get the hair closest as long as your razor is nice and sharp it shouldn't matter.

maybe you should skip shaving there just for a week or so while your skin heals.

Sure I'll stop shaving. For awhile I was shaving a lot because I thought maybe if I kept shaving and kept it clean with no hair it would heal faster.

i know two women who actually have herpes and they say it is very, very painful. one said it's like someone holding a lit cigarette on you. a shaving bump really doesn't feel like anything at all and it on a hair follicle. are you trying to scare him?

Got no reason to want to scare anyone...and if it has been diagnosed as a shaving rash, great for him. I just read the opening post:

Its like acne, not even just little dry-skin kinda red marks.

and it sounded exactly like a guy I know. He got herpes from the very first lady he ever had sex from. At the time I thought it was all like cold sores and scabs, but he said when it comes on, for him it is either just red patches of skin, or his shaft goes red....or he gets little spots of dry skin. Seems to depend (for him) on how bad the bout is at the time. He said all are uncomfortable and tiring, but said it is worse when his shaft goes red. He also said to look at it, no one would every guess he has anything (though he has of course told every partner before doing anything).

I knew nothing about it until meeting him, and didn't know it affects different people differently.

Yeah bro you got nothin to worry about....i had the same situation and it is most likely a minor dermatological problem...but i will give you the 5,000th opion. you are good on the STD thing man

sounds fungal to me champ . . . or AIDS

:roflmao:

sorry for the delay with a response:loser2: is what I am for not being fast and quick and taking my time with laughter!!!!

have you also changed your detergent for cleaning? Also, the point about the underwear as will soap and check your razor electric or manual. that might play part.

also if you cycle, some have said that it happens. I read it from the doctor from hell that hates the hell out of anabolic

good luck

my nephew had the same thing, thats why the info i gave.

I have gotten red bumps there from shaving before, looks really scary but its not :D its the same thing as some people get on their neck when they shave

I had myself checked, I was clean. It went away after trying out Coconut oil and some bio oil. I also had these little rashes on my arms, they also went away.

=)

Hey, right on! And another convert to coconut oil!

just for the record, on a side note...wearing protection wouldn't really keep you from getting some suface transmitted shit.

oh...I see you already posted that it was negative but still a good thought for others to know.

Yepp yepp Im always carrying some now, recommended it to the family as well. Also great for preventing dry skin, dehydrated skin etc..

This thread reminds me of this Dane Cook joke. It's frostbite bro lol.

jock itch bro

I had the same thing about a year ago. I went to my doc and it was aids..... lol just fucking with ya I went and got checked and it is actually the hair folicles getting infected.from sweat he recommended to clean like 4 to 5 times a day untill they went away and use bactine after u get out of the shower. Hope this helps

good that youre getting it checked, it could be an outbreak of HPV which is very common

see a dermatologist.

Best advice ever! Don't get all worked up thinking it's something crazy. It is probably something stupid and very minor with obvious huge mental effects on you. The problem with researching/self diagnosis, we tend to think it's the worst thing possible and focus on that.

The season change has an affect on it. Every year something like this happens just never here. And never this intense.

New brand of underwear? Yes..hmm..yes indeed.

Not running any cycle. Also I shave down there, how often do you guys change razors for that? And you guys don't use the same one you shave your face with right?

I think my brother uses my razor, we have a big family

This might be it.
Shave around there has to be a slow and very careful process.
Sometimes i would have it done in 5 minutes next day would be an army of red spots and it would itch like hell.
Need to take it very slow and use little strokes.

Would still get it looked over by a professional.

Acutane is bad stuff I took it in my early teens i've never had anything be that hard on my body and is without a dought a get worse before it gets better drug
