Hello, im new here so bear with me.
im 6'2 , 188 Ibs, its may 7th, football camps start june 18th. i need to get to 200 Ibs ASAP. i lift And run 3 times A week. i eat mainly pastas and meat. and pancakes in the morning. is there any tips and tricks that can help me gain alot of weight fast and healthier??

may i ask why you want to gain weight? 188 is pretty healthy....gaining weight fast will not be healthy and will make you weaker and slower...and mostly lest stamina..you will be carrying extra weight around....there is no way you can only gain muscle mass and strength in such a short notice. anyways on the day you lift do not run..lift 4 days and run 2 days , forget stuffing yourself with junk...just eat healthy and carbs and fruits and some protein in the morning and 1 -2 hours before working out...in the after noon or after working out concentrate on more protein and low carb.

Eat more.

...and forget the stupid scale ..concentrate on working out and gaining strength rather than gaining weight...as you gain muscle strength and mass , weight will follow...but if you just concentrate on gaining weight by eating, especially eating anything , all you will gain is fat and this will make you weaker and slower...your diet increase in calories should come mostly in increase in pure protein and a bit of carbs. No quick sugars and junk

damn shame the neg cannon is on reload....

I understand why you need gain weight for football been there done that.I don't recommend roids if your still in h.s. Try,creatine, bcaa, weight gain powder.

while in highschool and wanting to gain weight i would eat so much food to promote growth and fuel for workouts. Pasta, rice, baked potatoes, tuna, chicken, milk, protien shakes, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and best of the junk food Dominoes pizza with extra cheese, etc. In your offseason try not to burn to many calories outside of weight training. i ran small cycles of juice though d-bol, test and the combination really put some decent size on. My junior year i weighed 185 by my senior yr i was a solid 225. Not going to suggest to juice thats up to u, but EAT for size/ train with heavier wts.

just forget gaining weight fast just to gain weight....most of it will be useless weight...football does not require weight ...it requires a good power to weight ratio and youre not gonna get that by stuffing yourself with useless food. just train hard and increase your calories intake by mostly protein . increase some carbs before workout. Any quick weight gain you get on eating junk will make you slower and never stronger and that is exactly what you don't want. As far as juice..that is the stupidist thing you can do at your age

There are many way to build muscle and gain weight. I suggest lifting as much as you can, also as many pushups and crunches an you can do. You also need to alot of carbs, eat mac n cheese, spaghetti, bread, stuff like that. Try to stay away from fatty stuff, because if you eat fatty stuff you do gain weigth but its not muscle it fat and nobody want to be fat. haha good luck hope ive helped.

What are you talking about?????

Carbohydrates are number 1 reason for being fat and you are suggesting he should eat a ton of them.

Fats are not bad, at least the non saturated. Number one concern should be your protein as you probably don't eat it enough.

Eat lots of processed foods and eat lots of fatty foods as well. Do not exercise. If you are thirsty, choose drinks with lots of sugar.

post up more stats, training experience, bf%

there are no tips and tricks to help you gain weight fast and in a healthy manor

post up your diet in more detail and your daily macros

I pound milk when I'm trying to add some mass. It goes down easy, its cheap 2.79 a gallon at trader Joe's. I can go through a gallon a day pretty easy i just mix it with a protein blend and some ice. Tastes just like a milkshake

If your lactose intolerant disregard this :)

Well if you actually want to gain!
Try using supplements with natural diet!
This will help you much more rather only having pastas, cakes and meat won't help you!:sorry:

I agree to the 1st one, we may gain weight because we lack of sleep. When we are awake during sleeping time, it seems we like to eat which is not that necessary in our daily life.

Well First off if you want to gain weight you should stop running that is burning extra calories right there so quit the cardio also consider eating more calories. I think you should eat a surplus of 500 cals per day. Start here and let me know how it works.

For football i used creatine mono-hydrate in highschool, the water-bloat gave me 10 extra lbs, but i looked all puffy and soft.I had to drink at least a gallon
a day.
Also when i needed to "bulk up" in wrestling i would do creatine for a week or two. Granted this isnt an efficient or a healthy way but it makes the numbers
go up on the scale. It would be better to just eat right, train like a beast and gain your weight in muscle mass instead of fat or water weight but that doesnt happen in 2-3 weeks. if you have a couple months, just go with eating right and training like a beast. :rocker:

I agree with you. People should take only 500 kcal per day. I followed this with taking fat loss steroids and I really got very effective result within very short time.
