Hi Vieope. You are TOLD this is true in the USA but it is not actually necessarily true in a lot of ways.

As for porn, if someone can read the Bible I think others should be able to read/view porn if they want to. I do not believe in censorship when it involves adults. It should always be a personal decision. Not one legislated by government. Children are a different thing. They MUST BE of age - for the Bible and for porn.

The New Testament could perhaps be good for children, but the Old Testament is a violent-filled story with bizarre tale after bizarre tale. The Quran gets a bad rap for violence, but the Old Testamnent, in many ways, has more violence in it.

i can see why the comparison between adolf hitler and george bush yet it is somewhat extreme. i do wish that if you Americans are going to take over the world that you'd hurry up and go about it! the oil and gas prices over here are crazy..........

Hi Marcus. In Europe (where they have mass transportation and people are encouraged to utilize it and they do and driving distances are less and their vehicles get fairly good mileage) prices are around $4.50 to $5.50 a gallon with about $4.00 of it going to taxes on each gallon.

I'm for going solar - I understand we already have the technology for it but that the oil industry and the government is what is holding it all up. I understand Shell Oil is heavily into the solar technology.

It is not good - or fun - to pay huge prices for something that everyone needs as a basic - but then that is how some make their money off the misery of others...
