Roughly, how much fat do you think you can cook out of a beef or turkey burger?

As I test, I once went over a friends house and cooked one of his 80% "lean" burgers up that had like 25 grams of fat. After 6 minutes in the foreman grill, it tasted lean as hell, with very little flavor, and then grease tray had a ton of fat in it.

So, how much?

I am going to say it count on what you???re grilling them on and who is doing the grilling. There is no way to be sure what percentage of fat is burned off. Each grill act differently and based on how person grills them affects the percentage of fat burned off.

GF grille's are amazing, regardless of how much fat they take out...

I've cooked a burger on it, only to find it incredibly dry and tasteless. Went back to the pan for those things. I also found it much easier to extract the grease by pressing down on the burger, which is of course common sense. If that is your goal when cooking these, press it down at least twice a minute with a good push... you'll dry the shit out of it

Buy it for the chicken, although this comment is a bit off topic. Grilling chicken on it is simply the easiest (and pesonally, my favorite) way of cooking up some skinless chicken breasts. Throw on a hefty one, and 4 minutes will do the trick leaving a juicy (not fatty) chicken breast.

boiling em in water helps remove grease
