Well, its that time of year again. All the fatties, scrawnies, unjerked and undesirables begin their "resolution" for physical fitness.

What does that boil down to? Standing room only at the gym. Hotter, dirtier, louder, smellier. You may notice puddles of greasy sweat on your favorite bench. The undesirables do not have the concept of courtesy as they are too busy conversing with buddies about which brand of overpriced gnc creatine works best.

You may even walk into the lockers to find a 170 lb twirp snapping shots of himself in the mirror. Please restrain yourself, as the desire to beat him senseless will be great.

The good part is....This should ONLY last a month or so at the most...The influx that is.

Once the undesirables realize they arent at Cutler status in 3 weeks, they usually give up, making way for a clearer, cleaner, less crowded atmosphere. The surge of pencil necks and behemoths should slowly dissipate.

I told one to move out of my way tonight. I was doing seated DB presses and the focker was standing right in my way doing standing DB curls with 20s. I just stared at him with sweat dripping off me thinking that he would notice that he was in my freaking way and I had to get to my set so my training partner could get to his set b/c we had a tempo going. There I am sitting and sweating with 100s on the floor next to me. So finally I scream HEY!! you wanna move outta my way so when I swing that 100 up I don't smack you with it. He moved. Why don't these fockers go play piano or something?

Look on the plus side. February is weight buying time. All the equipment these people buy will be on craigslist sometime in February.

Just about every gym membership I've had has had a private area for the women with about 2 -3 women in there tops. Must be nice. :shooter:
 
This shit started last week at my gym the only good thing is it brings in the females that "only need to lose my holiday weight" :roflmao: I cant help but think Dam how long you been on holiday?? It gives me something to make fun of for at least another month.
 
It is and has been the same for 40 years.

I have lost my cool at times and got kicked out of a 24 Fitness one time.

I have a complete home gym and people will ask if they can come to my house, shit. They last two weeks at most!
 
I try to fuck all the new pigs that come in now, i tell em how sexy and hot there looking and how much weight they lost in the 2 days they been coming around. haha works like a charm!
 
This isn't totally on point here but 2 weeks ago I go to management. I say the the fattie witha bad Mohak at the desk hey is there a suggestion box. He says no what what can I help oyu with. so I say OK some of us are getting kinda strong. The bars are gonna start bending soon. You think you guys could get a couple of power bars for the squat racks? So he says blah blah blah upper management. Blah blah blah have to get Ok. Blah blah blah see Scott and ask him. So I say no chance right? I was apprehensive a about even asking cause I'm wondering if now I'll get the blame for the bent bars. Sure enough last week I'm spotting my partner on the squat rack with 5 wheels on a side and he steps out of the rack and the bar rolls and the plates start sliding nearly right off. That could have been a disaster. Plus it ruined his set. I'm thinking maybe I should just buy one and donate it to the gym nut that would take money away from my Test fund.
 
I got ppl on my Facebook hitting me up asking if i could train with them in my basement lol

Only room in that basement for 1 NB.. and that's ME!!

ok. the influx of people can be a pain to a routine, but everyone starts somewhere. everyone on this forum was once a newbie dumb ass holding 20lb dumb bells. you either learned because someone took you under their wing, or you stuck around long enough to get the lay of the land. help the newbies out. i'm not saying train them, but when they do something like get in the way because they don't know any better take 10 sec and explain gym etiquette to them. make everyones life better. to do otherwise is hubris indeed.

Hey, if the guys aren't willing to listen then i'm all for treating em like shit to get the hell out of the way. Im just saying our first effort should be one to help out. after that they are on their own. Just like how we treat newbies here on the forums.
