My g/f is 5'3 and 116-118. She runs 20 miles per week and lifts weights 4 days per week. She cannot seem to lose belly fat or tone her arms at all. She isnt cut. Her diet is a problem. She usually eats something small for breakfast like cereal then 5 hours later she eats lunch, usually a sandwich and some chips, then 5 or so hours later she will eat dinner, grilled chicken and vegetables or something like that. I told her she needed to eat 5 times per day to speed up her metabolism but she would have to tote around a lunch box to school and work. Is that the only thing she can do? She also takes a multi vitamin and glusomine. Before I get attacked for this....asking for advice was her idea not mine because I have no idea what to tell her. If I did half that amount of cardio I would be stick thin.
