I was just recently in 7-Eleven and saw a display for this product called kinny Water, which claims to suppress your appetite just by drinking it before every meal... and I was wondering if anyone has heard of it or tried it before and does it work like they say? I looked on google, and found that they have a site, http://www.skinnywater.com and read through some of the information and it seems to be pretty legit.

What do you think :hmmm:

total b.s. waste of money if you ask me. I did some searches on their "special" ing. Hydroxycitric Acid and through a 12 week, reduced cal. diet, the people give the H.A. supplements showed no extra fat loss than those who didnt. Just another way for someone to play on a mostly ingorant, health conscious community. So unless the price is the same as reg. bottled water(which I doubt it is/will be) then I would stick to the reg. of H2O. Drinking 20oz of anything before a meal is going to supress your appetite because your stomach will be half full of of liquid.

I was going to ask a question,

But, then I read the question was not

"Has anyone seen skinny WALTER?" -

Sounds like a bad idea to me. You shouldn't drink any liquids with or any closer than 20 minutes before you eat a meal. Excess liquid in the stomach will wash down alot of the stomach acids necessary for digestion, hence many people getting indigestion. Try it for a couple of weeks and you'll know what I mean.

Oh yeah and have you ever drunk a pint of water before eating a meal? It's hard to finish your food right? Sounds like a big con to me, why would you want to supress hunger anyway?

I think it's funny how they describe their product - "a no calorie water". What other kind of water is there?

Dieting is eating a low calorie, well balanced diet. Each to his own but actually not eating when you're hungry is unhealthy. Want to lose the pounds, get on the heavy bag for 4 rounds a day.

"Water........the cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast!"

No, dieting in it's simplest form is burning more calories than consuming. The healthy way is eat a clean diet and exercise, but still no matter how clean you eat, you have to reduce calories to lose wieght.
By the way, I agree that the product is crap.
