About 3 weeks ago I had gone to the doctors because I had come down with swine flu (I know bad). I had lost 8 pounds to the flu. That might not seem like a lot but I only weighed 120 to begin with. My doctor says he needs me to gain weight and stay healthy. The only problem is I am a VERY hardgainer. I worked out for a few months before and only managed to gain about 5 pounds over the course of 3 months. Now I am completely dedicated to getting in shape. I am 21 5'8" and 112 pounds. What would your advice be to someone in my condition? Thanks.

FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal
Enter a "typical" day's worth of food and post up the numbers - the calories you consume, and total grams protein, carb and fat.

We'll help you put weight on. It's actually quite easy once you know how to do it.

on a typical day I have:

2100-calories
120 grams of fat
200 grams of carbs
and 200 grams of protein.

I eat a lot of meat. That might explain the low calories with high protein other than that i don't know what's wrong.
