okay, i'm on a cutting plan that w8lifter supplied. I've been suprisingly faithful to it. This is my typical day:
meal 1-5 egg whites, 1 whole egg, ketchup on top of eggs
quaker instant oatmeal, i put brown sugar on the plain stuff
an apple
meal 2-protein shake- 1 scoop protein powder (38g scoop, 33g protein in scoop), 12oz water, a bit of skim milk, 6 frozen strawberries
meal 3-one of chicken, steak, beef, turkey with brown rice and veggies, usually raw carrots. I do put BBQ sauce on the turkey or chicken, cook steak or lean beef with BBQ sauce or steak sauce
meal 4-either a post lifting shake as above with added glutamine and without milk, or something along the lines of meal 3 (if later at night i skip the rice)
meal 5-if around 8 or 9 pm, tuna, chicken, turkey, steak or beef, no rice, a few veggies, maybe a couple oranges
meal 6- protein shake with a bit of skim milk, whipping cream and glutamine
i also drink Crystal Light juice from time to time
sometimes i sleep late and wake up at like 1 pm so it's hard to fit 6 meals in a day so the 3rd shake is the one i lose. Once a week i allow myself a cheat meal. Last night i had 2 pieces of pizza at 3 am after the bar. I cut out drinking beer, when i drink it's usually rye/coke or jeager/coke (delicious drink, try it) and it's at most 6 a night once at most twice a week. I've noticed fat being lost and this is without much cardio as i think i'm getting tendonitis in my knee after running.
i also take GNC Cuts pills. 2 in the morning, 2 with meal 3. When i do cardio, it's first in morning before i eat.
is there anything i'm doing wrong? Any ways to optimize my eating plan? If i use Safflower, Sunflower, or Olive oil, do i cook with it or put it in a shake? Is it bad to eat oranges? What fruit can i eat? Will hot peppers cooked with my meat help any?
i'm 6'2, weighed 193lbs last checked. My abs are coming in real nice, but i still have love handles, my main target for the cut. I am quite lean right now but the lovies are the problem. My estimate would be at most 5-7lbs of fat to lose. This would be at most, it is probably less.
any optimization tips are greatly appreciated!
also once i get to my goal, how hard is it to maintain for say the rest of the summer?
