how long will abs take for me

a good while kid....you have no muscle...anywhere....abs are muscles to....you obviously don't do anything....don't waste your prime years...get to it
 
Kid you already have abs under there you need cardio and a clean diet to get them visible...Its not hard to do it only took me 90 days to get mine visible...Good luck!
 
wow man, you gotta get to eating and lifting ASAP!!! I used to look like that when i was your age. Id give yourself a Year to get into proper shape, where you'll feel good about how you look. I know a year probably sounds like a lifetime at 16 but it will fly by. This is a lifestyle not just something you do on the weekends, well not if you wanna look good. you need to build muscle and loose fat. id focus on the muscle building first. do bodyweight exercises like pushups and dips leg raises pullups at your age it will do wonders. I used to do pullups all the tiem several times a day every day when I was young it worked great!
 
Let me ask you this: Why do YOU think you need cardio?

Because everything you learn about fat burning or manipulating the body involves copious amounts of cardio and jumping around, because the bafoons writing all of those articles, doing the vids, the dvd's, etc., know that if they can make you jump around a lot you will probably lose weight, thus their system or channel or dvd or supplemnt works and if you fail it's because you stopped jumping around and sweating. You don't need cardio because you're 16,pretty small, and you should be a walking bag of testosterone...oh and cardio sucks basically. Sure it's ok here and there or if you're getting ready for a competition. It's more about the diet and how consistent you can be with your eating. You need to start good dietary intake, and track it. And since I'm an advocate of knowing what you're doing if you're going to start repetitively loading a muscle and joint, I would advise you get a GOOD trainer to start you off doing the basic lifts/movements. Squats, presses, deadlifts, back

you can't spot reduce fat stores, that's simply not how human biology functions. that being the case, your going to lose fat and some muscle all over your body. how long? as long as it takes you to get down to about 10% body fat.
 
kid u heal so fast at ur age, build as much as u can, u hit 40 and realise u heal alooooooooooooot slower
 
Abs on a skinny guy is like tits on a fat girl. Build muscle and fat will burn showing off your 'abs' and improving them. Stuff like sit ups will only get you so far

True. ^^^ think of it like snow. It melts the slowest where its the thickest. The abdominal fat stores are usu the last to go so bf has to be pretty low to see the lower abs.

Start eating healthy kid. Start running every single day and that will help get rid of that fat on you. You will be ripped in 8 weeks time trust me.
 
hellzoom: watch your diet but you have to be strict about it, exercise abs 4 time a week doing different types of exercises, crunches, leg raises, sit ups ..whatever you can think of. it should not take you more than 15 minutes a day, you also will be motivated and feel better if you exercise your whole body too 3 times a week.
patience is the key. the mistake is to try to rush things and overdo it , this may get you burned out and frustrated, don't look for quick results, but look for steady progress, this will motivate you. over all being skinny will help you get quicker results when it comes to abs so i say you need 2 months to start seeing some definition.

I understand your young bro but that is the most vague question I've ever heard. It depends on a ton of different variables. Diet training genetics etc. genetics can play a pretty big role in abs. I've had visable at 15% bf when bulking. Start by getting a solid diet and a good training program then go from there. If u need any help or have any questions get to 10 posts and u can pm me. Hit the diet section on here and get a solid diet setup. There's a ton of knowledgable guys on here that will answer your questions but u have to do your research. No one is going to spoon feed you all the info u need.

Work hard eat right And eat dinner by 5pm with no snack b4 bed. As young as you are it can happen faster then one would thing. Use your youth it's a wonderful thing.
