I love training legs. I almost never miss a leg training session. if I do I won't skip it I'll just push everything else back.

Do you have chicken legs? :hmmm:

damn kid u r stupid...lol, sorry but i just have to be rude, first of all this is not a car racing club, makes me think u r 16-17 yrs old, plus there is no way that if u have a stock 300 that u can "destroy" an m3, plus no one probably cares.......anyway, why would you not work out your legs? makes me thing that you are doing bench press 4 times a week? plus your legs are 50% of your body, when you work them out you release important growth hormones that help you grow even your uper body...not that you would know anything about that, but stick around you will learn a lot....

oh, and welcome to IM ;) :D we all started somewhere....

As said above ,legs are as important as it gets.Without a good base you are nothing!!!!!!

I dont see why the heck u wouldnt train 'em, unless ure injured in some way that prevents u from training legs or ure a genetic freak born with killer wheels.

Then again, lotsa people are satisfied with "T-shirt muscle"

The legs deserve one day a week like every other body part. DOnt like doing them but I DO THEM. Funniest looking guy in the world is NOT the puny 98 lb. weakling, its the guy who has big upper body and bird legs! BWAAAAAAAHHHAAAAAAHAAAAAAA

lol ur right

Im no so fond of training legs either, but I find it rewarding and motivating to go thru that damn W/O especially when I dont want to or when I think I cant possibly do another rep...leaves my legs mushier than a 75 yr old who forgot to take his Viagra, but its so worth it.
Also, if u set goals, or want to improve, U gotta work the entire package...U know what I mean!?

T-shirt muscle lovers tend to work their biceps and perhaps chest...The muscle that looks good when wearing a t shirt!!;)

I dread training legs, because they are the hardest to train... but don't consider yourself a 'real' bodybuilder or powerlifter if you don't. :thumb:

i have a question, i always do leg workouts but i hate it. I want to know why you guys hate doing leg workouts.

The reason i hate it is because

1. It's boring
2. Squats, leg presses, stiff-legged DL, and leg curls can be a real pain sometimes. After my workout, i can barely walk and the next day, i cant even walk.
3. I also do 3-4 exercises of abs after my leg workouts and i am about ready to puke cus im just exhausted.

But mostly it's just so boring cus i like doing upper body more. Funny thing is, my workout tomorrow is legs/abs. :grumble:

I hate doing legs because it's hard work. I always feel a little bit dizzy and light headed after a good set of squats or leg presses. Plus I sweat like crazy and then stagger out of the gym like my ass has been kicked.

lol

destroyed an M3....that's humor... Unless your 300 is boosted, you've done no such thing. :)

Oh yeah, train your legs dude...it's a must!

and oh yea, the reason the i feel i dont have to work my legs is that i think i have strong muscular legs. I dont have chicken legs. I weigh about 190-200, and i think half my wight is there and the other half is in my belly. I skated like almost every day since i was 15 till i was 18. and started skatinf again last summer. I dunno, i think my legs are fine. any one else have big legs

it's stupid to do something you hate....stay the fuk little.

lol

Because working legs right is damn hard. I said I 'dread' doing legs, but in reality I have a love/hate relationship with them :D. Hate the work, love the result.

lol, PLUS in bodybuilding there is a HUGEEEE difference from 190 to 200 pounds, it all depends on you bf% too....

I LOVE Leg day!! I believe Crazy described it prefectly when she said (after working legs), "I usually end up walking around like a little prison bitch..." All too true but damn if the results aren't worth it!

I suppose the ONLY thing I hate about Leg Day is the DOMs I get a couple days afterwards. Totally sucks but like all other soreness, I work through it.

I love it when the nails workout at the gym, I laugh too hard.

I get a surge of adrenaline about 10 minutes before I train my legs. It's a feeling of fear and anticipation and excitement. It's a rush that I can't explain, and I love it and hate it. I am afraid of killing myself but love the control of pushing myself to, even if it's relative, serious limits...leg day is different from all other days in this regard.

I like to refer to it as the "I've been spanked with a bat" feeling.

If you want some real fun, do a dropset of squats. I thought I was gonna die...

lol
