i will get my shit on video.

PLEASE do! I can't wait to see that.

Well from the looks of ya'lls numbers I do have a ways to go but like I said I just started doing them about 11 weeks ago. I can definitely tell though that they have help my traps explode. I just figure that I should be able to dead more than I can bench but I guess I got nothing but time....

Dude my traps blew the fuck up too. I love it. I remember watchin WWF as a kid and this dude came out with HUGE ass traps. I think it was Triple H. From that day on that's been my goal.

Just keep on keeping on. It will come up. Work on your form more than anything.

What's funny is I said that thing about deadlifts earlier before I went to the gym and guess what, everyone decided to do deadlifts today after they saw me. Cool thing is no one could go higher than me. Even the guy with the mad bacne that's obviously juicing.

Bunch of not bigs.

hmm...

I rarely put more than 225 on a bar no matter what I do.

I only do deadlifts with hex bar and can do like 5 plates on each side for 3-4 reps fuck straight bar deads

525 for two before my recent chest tear a couple weeks ago so have just been doin light sets...

used to open with about 600...this is 615...

good work!
I was shooting for a 600x3 in late october, pulled my hammy warming up with 475... hasn't been the same since :( Ever have that issue? I've pulled hams before but never have taken this long to heal. I'm back up to 550's now but my progression is VERY slow. I wanted to be at 700 by the end of this year but it seems that my body isn't wanting me to make it there...

never pulled my ham string but tearing my chest the wat i did has been very debilatating to allot of my heavy lifts which sucks but it is getting better as time goes can still do heavy legs and other stuff...

ya. i have 3 layers of medical mesh in holding my stomache together... took 2 years to get to lifting heavy again... been lifting heavy since this past summer and already past my pre accident condition. determination baby! :)

wow bro that gives me a bit of insperation what caused that?

some people are born with a weakness in their abdominal wall which leads to hernias... i was 22 and benching 400 for reps in a comp and all the sudden i passed out. i blew my intestines down into my nut sack. required a hasty brutal surgery to save shit. an incision from my nuts to my belly button... recovery SUCKED. i mean sucked....

couldnt move. everything was like relearning becuase the mesh is pretty stiff.

when i got clearance to lift again i asked him straight up... can i still do this shit!? he said honestly i knew you would so i bound you up with an extra piece. just take it slow.

so i did...

and im g2g now. but would rather lose my hand than go through that again...

man bro thats crazy im glad to hear ur gtg how bad does it affect ur lifting now?

it used to. i would limp after pushing hard. everthing with lifting pushes on ur belly ya know? it would be sore a lot of the time after.

and the lifting belts pinched my mesh so i wore one but not super tight.

bending over hurt so dead lifts and squats took longer.

but i am seriously g2g now. dont even think about it. but took a long time lol

I was up to 455 when I had to have the mesh installed in my stomach. I am back up to 425 now, but get very nervous when I pull heavy. My doc said all is well, we shall see, because stopping lifting is not an option!

I stopped using tren and lifting heavy after I dislocated both my shoulders at the same time.

All I care about is looking good naked now.

If I had some of the injuries you guys have had I'm not sure i would lift at all.

I would be in the yoga classes.

lmao. it gave me a hurdle to jump. and i did. nothing feels better ;)

It was just too much pain for me to go through again. It messed with my head mentally.

I did 445 x 5 , for whatever dumbass reason I didn't go for my max 1 rep.

Yea, I've been there...good mornings, stiff legs, and hypers fixed me up. And lots of stretching! Remember Matt Dimmel? He tore both hamstrings off and ended up getting back to squating over 900 before he died. It can be done...just takes a little patience. If it was easy, everyone would be deadlifting 700!

585. mending from a hernia surgery 8 weeks ago, so its slow going right now with the deads.

500 for 3 X 6. Haven't tried a max in quite some time...

I just go outside and lift the ass end of my girls volvo up few times.....gich

Hola Amigos.....

Just wondering what ya'll deadlift. Im 30, 5'11'' and my weight has skyrocketed up to 224lbs in week 10 of my Test cycle (See my sig).
My deadlift has gone up but not like my bench and squat. I pretty much do the same weight on all 3 big compounds now. Deads are something I never learned when I was younger and just started doing them a couple months ago. Current stats..

Deads - 315 x 4
Bench - 315 x 5
Squat - 315 x 8

wtf is up with everyone and having their bench higher than their dead and squat almost the same...sounds like the usual gym rat who overtrains and does chest and biceps everyday...anyway, since your posting reps of 315 and not max's

Deadlift - (no idea for 315) sooo.... 405X15, 500X6-8
Bench - 315X4
Squat - 315X20easy, 405X12, 455X6
