How much protein?

I am a 45 yr old female. 280 pounds. Lost 7 pounds a week the last three weeks. Before I became obese I was comfortable at 140 pounds. I believe I probably have more muscle now since I have a very active job and lift pts. at work.

I read that I should be getting 1-1.5g protein per LBM. What is the most accurate way to measure LBM and can I estimate for now since I do not have the funds right now to get body fat measured accurately?

Also would not eating enough protein required cause fatigue and one to want to sleep more? I have tried to eat more meat the past few days and it seems like I have an easier time getting up in the am.
 
At your current weight, a gram per pound LBM is quite sufficient.

You can use 80% of your pipe-dream weight as a ballpark estimate of your lean mass - it'll be close enough for now.
 
honey IMO, try to eat protein and vegetables. to me, that´s kind of diet work so good, i losst a lot fat just in one month.
