How old were you?

16
Don't remember how soon I noticed anything.

I started working out when I was 23. It took about six months before I saw any real results.

Yup, me too. I've been spending three days a week mountain biking though, so my legs are starting to look really good. :)

Started when i was 20 and i saw results in about 3 months !

I was 14 and yes I was bigger than most kids by 16, but like a dummy didn't keep it up between 20-28 cause I got married and was to busy haveing sex, now that I've been married 10 years, i don't have sex no more so there's plenty of time to lift weights.
  Sad but kind of true. :(

the first 19 years I trained for strength the past 1.5 I've been training for hypertrophy.

I started at 25 and saw results in 3 months. Best lifestyle change I ever made.

started at the age of 23 - first year gains were tremendous. it has been slow and steady every since for 6 years now!

24, and still am. I started seeing visual results after a couple months. I wish I would have started sooner, but hope I am still going 50 years from now.

I started at 24. I don't remember when I first noticed results.

Started at 22......saw immediate results, but
I was already very "athletic".

I started at 13 but i didnt get serious untill 16. i noticed results n a couple of months.

26 saw results in first 6 months but not seriously notable til added cardio jan of this year :)

15/16, noticed results quite quickly, ten years later i've caught a second wind (in the last 7 monhts) and seem to keep gaining strength and size really well. in 10 more years i'll be 34 and perfect!
only used creatine 3 times and one set of fat burners. the secret is to eat LOTS of quality protein, and you'll rocket!:thumb:

I'm 30 years old. I started 7 weeks ago.
Noticed a little change but not much yet.
Maybe because I'm 6'3 and weigh 245.
I previously worked constuction/laborer so I did not need to lift. Was always too tired.

21. I started seeing results almost immediately. I was a scrawny 130lbs in high school. Now three years later I'm at about 160 or 165. May not sound like a lot of weight, and I'm definitely not huge, but the esthetic change has been dramatic. Wish I had started in high school and got involved in more sports.

I was 16 and didnt have a clue what i was doing. Started cuz a girl in school thought that the veins looked cool, been 16 years now.

14. i got my first weight set on my birthday:sob: what a great day:yes:

I started when I was around 19. I wasted my time doing rag mag routines for about 2-3 years until I finally learned how to do it right. I don't count those years so I say 8 months. I have made 90% of my gains in the 8 months I have been doing it right.

I started weight lifting when I was 12 b/c of football. Not for bodybuilding, I did not really want to get that big. But more for strength and endurance.

hey yanks20, if you're at a plateau, change up the workout. take a week off and eat like crazy. lots of carbs, protein and calories. try to gain about 5 pounds of anything but fat, which would be muscle (duh). eat good stuff, lots of it. but do atleast one day of situps and crunches. then come back and add about 2%-4% of what you were lifting to what you'll now lift. definetly stay off cardio. but instead of working out every other day, do like a 3 day split or something for about 3 or 4 weeks then go back to what you were doing. hope this helps.
