Hi Everybody,
I used to take whey protein powder shake after my workout previously. (1-2 yrs back). I had accelerated hairfall at that time. (may not be related to powder, but I am just trying to avoid it).

I wanted to check what are the other options we have for post workout nutrition if I want to avoid whey protein powder shakes.

I really appreciate your help.

You can take some glutamine+bcaa post workout.
And fastest protein source after whey are egg whites (don't eat it raw plz).

I stopped taking a post workout shake a long time ago and it hasn't made any difference in gains. I just eat a meal after working out.
If you liked taking the shake, just didn't like the hair loss (which wasn't the shake BTW) then you could substitute chocolate or regular milk PWO.

Hair loss from protein shakes? :hmmm:

If whey makes you lose hair, you've got bigger fish to fry! Get an all natural whey or something like Jay robb...otherwise just eat a meal after you workout, or chocolate milk(watch out it has whey in it too!) ....

blame your moms side for the balding not the protein shakes.

Any protein will do post workout. Crack open a can of tuna and enjoy that fishy goodness.
