How do you cook eggs again? Also, should I take out the yolks in 1 or 2 of them if im eating 3?

PS: Do you use salt or pepper or anything?

I hate eggs so I drench it in tabasco sauce or salsa.

Yes, you should limit your yolks.

Scramble, poached, flat fried anwya you want.

u can give this a try if u want to omit the oil? :)

Scramble -- in a bowl (add a tad water) & Microwave for 1 minute.
Sautee-- in a bit of Home-made (sodium free.) Chicken stock. (if you want the recipe send a PM?)
Poach -- In boiling water just drop in the egg and boil for a couple minutes.

Note: How many 2 eat? I read on-line, at the Harvard School of Public Health, (If your healthy) 1 egg a day is just fine. If you have diabetes, limit. If you have High Cholesterol, really limit...even omit Yolk when possible.

So if your healthy....Enjoy your daily intake of eggs!! :thumb: Some Good 4U Nutritional facts at the The Harvard School of Public Health (on-line)!! Check it out!! :read:

i hope 2 have helped in some way?

I hard boil a few dozen (jumbo) eggs every week. It's so much easier to just eat a couple of hard boiled eggs (mostly whites) in the morning then to actually cook some. I've never tried cold scrambled eggs though.

Just curious...what would eggs have to do with diabetes? :hmmm:

i read it at the Harvard school of Public Health, online. They didn't go into detail as to why people w/ Diabetes should limit their egg intake?) but if you like, you can go there (same title) .com and you may find more about it? They have a very informative page on Eggs and Cholesterol (as well as other Nutritional information). If i remember correctly they said, "Diabetes" folk should limit to 3 eggs per week and High cholesterol people (such as myself, unfortunately) should limit to 1 egg per week and any more... to omit the yolk?

Let me know if you find more about it? It is very interesting and good to know stuff! :)

I just heard that the yolk isn't such a bad thing.
Seems Arnold use to eat them whole. :bulb:

Doesnt the yolk have all the protein in it though?

I remember learning in science class that the yolk was what the wee chicked eats until he is big enough to crack the egg.

can i use a teaspoon of ketchup on my eggs? i know theres some sugar in it, but i was brought up on ketchup. can i have a teaspoon a day if im bulking?

too easy that's how I do them :thumb:

I just hard boil them usually a dozen at a time. I eat between 4 and 5 whites and one whole for breakfast every morning. I've been eating eggs every morning for over a year. Just had my cholestrol checked at work and it hasn't changed. It's been about the same for the last 5 years. I really have to question if they are really as bad as everyone thinks they are.... Eat up boys it's great protein.... :chomp:

Thanks 4 ur story. That's good 2 know stuff!

I don't think they're bad. I am one who thinks if you R healthy...Go for it!!! If you R unhealthy per say, "Diabetes or High Cholesterol" you might need to (limit intake and/or remove yolk) as recommended? I do believe Investigate and research the facts on your own is always best! :)

Take a red potatoe and slice it. Drizzle some olive oil in a pan, throw in some mushrooms, spinach, onion, peppers, and any other veggie of your choice. Cook with a couple egg whites.
Top with hot sauce or salsa. Adding shredded cheese is another option.
Lean ground beef, ground turkey, or ham can also be added.
