Mudge said:Its about as much weight as 3 non-lifters can lift and not kill themselves on video.
cfs3 said:So Mudge, what you're saying is that if we could talk them into using more weight, we'd have a Faces of Death video?
man that sounds nastyMudge said:I've seen at least 2 videos of drops to the neck, one guy after his arm snapped on I believe a 733 attempt. His left forearm just snaps in half.

I've been lifting for 13 years or so. Ofcourse I was only in sixth grade when I started so I cant tell you what I started from. At the end of 1998 I blew out my shoulder playing football in college my freshman year and was benching about 315 or so and after wards I couldn't do anything! When I started lifting again in 99 my bench was somewhere around 205 or so, I had lost over 100 pounds in strength. So I guess I could say my starting point was in 99 at about 200lbs ago. I went to the gym hard core for about 4 1/2 years, took about a year off of hard lifting, and have been back in the gym for about half a year. It has taked a long time to get back up to this level.cfs3 said:Hey Newt, how long did it take you to reach that goal? What was your starting weight?
Thanks Vieope and WilliamB, I think you're looking a little to hard for irony buddy.Vieope said:Newt is a newbie but I knew that he was kewl.
